Hi guys! Jasminnancy here! I want you to realize that this story is completely fictional other than the emotions. I just HAD to write a story with the character's name as Allie - which is also my name - just because I knew I could make it that much more of a story that way.
Please enjoy, and I love you all!

*BEEP BEEP BEEP*
"There is no way my alarm is already going off. It feels like I just went to bed... great.'" My clock showed 6:02 a.m.
I forcefully pressed the off button on my alarm (A little too hard, per usual) and rolled out of bed, tangled up in the sheets, already dreading the day. It's my first day of junior year and since I am completely and utterly single I am NOT looking forward to it. Hell, I don't even have a friend to look forward to seeing. All I did over the summer was go to the beach by myself and redo my room.
No one ever talks to me. They don't even see me in the first place.
Swear words tumbled throughout my head as I untangled my comforter from my body and lazily picked up the outfit I had laid out last night. As I slipped into my jeans and my grey and green striped t-shirt, I thought of last year's boring school year. I thought about the friends I should have found, and the food at lunch that will forever taste like cardboard. I thought about the parties I wasn't invited too, but got in anyways because of Tyler... Tyler. OH MY GOD TYLER. I had almost forgotten that Tyler was back home from Italy after a year-long exchange program. I had a goofy grin on my face and turned on my favorite Spotify playlist. I'm not surprised that the thought of him brightened my morning.
Thoughts of Tyler replaced the never-ending trail of swear words as I went into the bathroom and brushed my teeth. It had been way too long since I had seen him last, and I had missed him all year. We had Skyped once or twice, but our schedules always clashed even though we promised to keep in contact. I remember when he got into his father's car to go to the airport... the look on his face as we said our last goodbyes... I was starting to get upset again for no reason... No, I knew the reason. I loved this boy. It had been months since we last spoke and, since he had gotten back last night, I decided that I would much rather talk to him then think about him.
I grabbed my black knee-high converse that I sharpied all over last year and ran down the stairs. My backpack was sitting in one of the kitchen chairs but when I went to grab it I noticed some papers that hadn't been there the night before. I started to look at the bills, hoping for some kind of "I'll miss you" note from my mom since she was moving to New York to chase after some guy she had just met... nothing.
I was just turning around to go out my front door and see Tyler, but my mom startled me when she stormed in from the sitting room.
"It's about time you decided to show up! I wanted to wish you goodbye for your first day of junior year, but now I'm just running late for my plane." She had her hands on her hips, and her red, curly hair was a mess. Makeup was smudged on her cheek and it looked like she had been crying. Leave it to mom to get drunk the night before she has to go work. I really didn't want to deal with her so I just looked at her, stunned that she was even talking to me.
"Did you HEAR me? Don't you love your mama anymore? Whatever. You're just a mistake.. and I made another one waiting for you to come down stairs. I'm going to miss my plane because of you." I couldn't help it. I could feel the anger rising in my cheeks as they flushed.
"Then you didn't have to wait for me! Nothing is different mom, I'm going straight to Tyler's then we're catching the bus in the usual place before seeing the same-old people, eating the same-old boring lunch, and going to the stupid classes before coming back home to do homework alone. You really didn't have to be late just to say bye. ESPECIALLY if that means you're going to YELL at me instead of ACTUALLY caring for once in your life!"
