The Way He Loved Me

Part 2

As we walked in yet another room I couldn't help but whine. "Tyler, oh my god.. Pleeeeaseee put me down! Where are you taking meeee?"

He was still carrying me over his shoulder, and I held on tight.

"Hush, just wait. You are going to love this awesome surprise that I got for you and me both. You just have to be patient." Pffth. Patience. He knew I didn't have patience worth squat.

As he carried me all over his house (unnessisarily I might add), through all sorts of places and rooms, I was thinking about what the surprise could be. Deep down I was hoping that it would be some kind of romantic get-away, but don't get me wrong... I learned to never really expect one. As we trudged along for what felt like 5 minutes I realized that I was a little scared. I mean, I didn't mind the whole being so close together thing, I am just afraid of being really close while alone in Tyler's house.

We finally stopped and he put me down. I knew that he was pretty impatient too, so I decided to close my eyes before I could see what it was he wanted me to see.

"Allie... what do you think?"

"I'm not looking. You made me wait too long to see whatever it is, and it probably wasn't even worth the wait."

************Tyler's POV******

I grabbed her waist but she decided to make this difficult so I threw her over my shoulder and headed off.

"Pleeeeeaaseeee put me down! Where are you taking meeee?" Was she really whining now? I tried not to laugh at her but I did catch a smile on my face. Thank god she didn't notice the way I looked at her.

After making sure that she was done whining I headed into the garage. When I told her that she could look now, all she did was close her eyes. CLOSE HER EYES. It was like she was pushing every button I owned.

"Allie... what do you think?" I wanted to know. She hadn't reacted, and I wasn't sure if she liked it or not.

"I'm not looking. You made me wait too long to see whatever it is, and it probably wasn't worth the wait."

"What?!?!" I didn't hide the shock in my voice. "But Allie. It is amazing. Are you seriously doing this to me?"

"You should have expected it. Your a jerk." She was trying not to giggle, but failing miserably, and as I was still shocked she reached behind her head and smacked me in the face.

"OW. Allie. Come ON." I was starting to get frustrated. This wasn't fair, but I guess.. I GUESS.. I deserved it.

"No." She turned around to face me. "You made me wait."

"And now she's making me wait." I couldn't help but mumble to myself. I mean, of all the people in the world, I have to try and surprise Allie, but NOOOO. Not only does she need a whole lot of carrying, but she is stubborn, and impatient. "Allie. Seriously. Look." I was about to die from the tension. She opened her eyes and looked at me. "Turn around."

************Allie's POV*****

"Allie. Seriously. Look." I could tell that I was bugging him, and I loved it. I opened my eyes and looked at his face, into his eyes. "Turn around."

Grr.. fine. "Whatever." His eyes had melted me. My stubborness was gone, and it was all I could do to pull away from looking at those eyes.

I wanted to say something, but I couldn't. Standing in front of me was the most beautiful Mercedes convertible I have ever seen in my entire life. I decided that this was actually going to be the start of a very good year.

I just kept looking at him, and then at the car. After I just stood there for about 5 minutes I finally brought my thoughts together enough to breath out, "oh. my. god. this. is. AMAZING."
