*********Allie's POV*****
"Wha-What?" I was glad i was still sitting in my chair. Tyler had gotten down on his knees, and since he was eye-level, his face wasn't too far away.
"Do you.. want to be my girlfriend?" He looked a little worried, and I suspect that he thought I was going to say no, when really I was trying not to scream and jump up and down. I didn't want to cause an attention-grabbing scene.
"I.. I.. Oh my god. Yes." I tried to keep my voice from shouting and/or squeaking, and I proudly succeeding in keeping my cool.
"Good." He leaned in and kissed me. He lightly ran his fingers across my shoulder, and I immediately got goosebumps.
"AHEM" I had forgotten about Mia. She was still sitting in the chair across from me, and I couldn't help but giggle.
"Sorry.." Tyler was beaming happiness. "So Mia. Did you come with anybody?"
I had been wondering the same thing all night, but Mia just shook her head no.
"I didn't want too. It's way more fun to meet someone at a party.... Er.. Why, do you know somebody who want's to dance?" She was glancing at the cup that was on the table in front of her, and I knew that she was a little embarrassed.
"Of course. Do you know Luke? The birthday guy?" We all got up, and Tyler lead the way back to the door that lead to the room where Luke had been hiding. "Hold on."
Mia and I nodded, and unlike last time, the guards let Tyler right in. It wasn't 15 seconds later that Tyler reappeared, and he was smiling. "You're in luck. Go right in."
Tyler closed the door behind Mia, and I was wondering what was going on. I guess I had confused written all over my face, because Tyler laughed and grabbed my hand.
"Wait!" I stopped running. "Where are we going?" I was still confused, and running away from Mia wasn't helping my confusion.
"Just wait... you'll see." He had a little mischievous tone in his voice, and it wasn't long before he had grabbed my waist and started toting me towards one of the booths. I was surprised when we passed the booth, and there was a little door behind the huge curtain backdrop that surrounded the booth.
"Shhh. Be quiet." Tyler was wispering in my ear again and, as we slowed down to a sneaky pace, I could feel his breath against the back of my neck.
He opened the door, and we walked onto a little balcony. I hadn't realized that we were a whole story off the ground, but as I looked off the balcony into the gorgeously decorated backyard, my thoughts were instantly cut off by Tyler's lips on my neck. I was drawing in short, quick breaths, and his lips danced around my neck as his arms wrapped around me.
As I turned around to face Tyler in his white suit, I couldn't help but giggle a little at his appearance. "I really do like you ya know." I wrapped my arms around his neck, and as I rested my forehead against his, I could hear the light thump of the music in the ballroom.
"I know. It's a good thing that the feeling is mutual." He was smiling, and his fingers were playing with the little button at the small of my back.
"Thanks for taking me tonight. I'm so glad you brought me here. I met Mia, and Luke, and we got a really good picture of us. This is a really amazing first date." I was blushing a little, but I was still smiling, and as we stood there and swayed to the music my brain replayed the first time we kissed.
"Allie, I'd do anything for you. You mean the world to me."
I sucked in a lot of air, and tried not to squeak. I failed though, and we both giggled. "I didn't mean to squeak." I was still giggling, and right when we were about to kiss, Luke busted the door open.
"No No No. There will be none of that on MY balcony. Go home you two. Here's that amazing picture ya'll took at the door... And Allie, don't worry. I'll give Mia your number." Luke was a goof, and by the look of the smudged lip stick on his face, he and Mia had been having a little fun of their own. Tyler and I said our goodbyes, and headed out tto the car.
********************
I stepped out of the shower. I always loved getting all of my make-up off and feeling clean. I towel dried my hair, and slipped on the pants and tank top that I had layed out. When I opened the door, Tyler was waiting for me, and he grabbed my waist and kissed me.
"You take long showers." He smiled and tweaked my nose before walking down the stairs.
"Well." I just said it outloud to myself, and walked to Tyler's bedroom.
Tyler had fixed up a room for me, but I never slept in there. Tyler's room was more.. my style, but I really just like cuddling at night. I had tried to sleep in my room once, but I ended up back in Tyler's bed. Tyler doesn't mind sharing, and so we both just sleep in his room.
I dove into Tyler's bed, and hid my face under all the pillows. I was tired, and before long I was asleep.
