Epilogue

Alexandra's POV

I jumped into Alec's arms, my arms wrapping around him in a tight hug.

Today is the day he finally gets to take me home.

I glanced back at the new friends I made over the years.

"I'm going to miss you so much." Elizabeth, my bestfriend, sobbed, wrapping her slender arms around my neck.

I choked back a sob as she let go, wiping the escaped tears from her cheeks.

"I'll visit I swear." I promised giving her hand a final squeeze before letting go and turning toward Mary.

She smiled warmly, holding her arms wide open for a welcoming hug.

She cried silently and I finally broke,  not having the strength to hold back any longer.

"Alec, I can never thank you enough for this wonderful home you brought us." She sobbed as she finally set me free.

"You don't have to thank me Mary." He waved her off. "Besides, you took great care of Alexandra for so long and let me visit. Take this as a thank you for everything you've done."

She broke out into another fit of cries and choked out sobs.

I smiled warmly as we left the beautfiul building.

Outside held a much different scenery than the past orphan home we lived at.

It was in such a bright, friendly town.

Alot of the girls have been getting adopted recently as we were finally noticed.

Many come and go.

Finally it was my turn to go.

"My baby sister is finally coming home with her big brother." Alec yelled excitedly, pulling me in his arms.

I groaned, slapping him playfully. "I'm not a baby anymore dude."

"You are to me."

"Oh come on! Im fourteen, almost fifteen!"

"A baby, I know." He grinned, packing my things in his car.

I squealed, jumping up in excitememnt.

"Ohmygosh is this a lamborghini centenario roadster!?"

"How do you even know this car?" He raised a questioning brow.

I shrugged. "I do my research."

"Wow my brother is loaded!" My arms raised dramatically.

"Don't get your pampers loaded baby sister."

I scuffed and hopped in excitedly.

"I can't wait to see your house." I screamed a he hopped in.

The engine roared to life and I couldn't help the wide smile that broke out.

"Trish!" I screamed as we pulled up to a beautiful house that seemed more like a mansion.

Lush green grass, colourful flowers everywhere, the walls were a white and black colour with a gold and black gate.

There was so much more but Trish was the main source of my attention.

The second she turned in my direction, a huge bump was the first thing I noticed.

It was all I could notice.

"Trish is pregnant!?" I pointed an accusing finger at Alec.

He held his hands up in surrender, "Trish wanted to surprise you."

His eyes brightened as they landed on her.

The love and admiration he had for her was clear as day.

My heart swelled in admiration at the sight of them.

"Alexandra!" She squealed, walking toward me.

I instantly ran in her direction, seeing how much of a challenge it was for her to move.

I hugged her to the best of my ability. "I missed you so much."

I heard her sob in my arms as she stroked my hair gently.

"I missed you too." I breathed in her welcoming scent, smiling warmly.

"Come let me introduce you to everyone." She ushered me to follow.

We spent most of the evening talking to her family and friends as everyone welcomed me.

The biggest challenge was talking to my own mother.

We weren't exactly on good terms but it was obvious she had changed so I was willing to work my way through everything with her.

I just needed time.

I knew I was going to be so much happier here.

My life was finally piecing itself back together like an unsolved puzzle.

"Alec!" I suddenly heard a scream come from the living room where everyone had gathered.

His eyes widened in shock at the sudden outburst.

He held his glass of champagne and raised a brow.

"Alec your fiancé needs you!" I heard Brian yell.

"Alec get your ass out here now!" Trish screamed impatiently.

Alec's eyes widened in fear.

"Her water broke she's going into labour!" I think it was Kim who yelled.

Alec's glass dropped to the floor, shattering with a loud crash as shards of glass and all the contents of his drink spilled everywhere.

"What are you waiting for? Go Alec!" I yelled, snapping my fingers to capture his attention.

He bolted out the kitchen doors, careful not to slip or step on any broken glass.

"Oh no Trish! I rather not see your vagina please suck that baby back up! My eyes!" A voice yelled and I immediately knew it was no other than Josh.

"We're carrying her to the hospital you moron shut the hell up!" Definately Jade.

Shaking my head with a small smile, I prepared to join the clutter of frantic people I now know as family.
