We were outside Mia's house and I couldn't help but stare in horror.

There were teens in the front yard either talking in groups, or running around half naked.

One random girl was rolling around the ground flashing her boobs while some people stood in the public eye making out, practically swallowing eachother whole.

Some were passed out and a guy who looked to be in his mid twenties proudly humped a mannequin.

Where he found it? I have no idea.

"Wow. This is just wow." Josh murmured seeming to be in a daze.

"Ok guys. I'm the designated driver for tonight so I say we leave in three hours. No more no less. Got it?" I was in parent mode. As Jade, Josh and Kim called it.

"Ok mom," they muttered as we made our way inside.

"I'm gonna go get a drink!" Kim yelled over the blasting music.

I just nodded in response and looked around, only to see Josh gazing and walking like a zombie over to a red headed chick.

She was wearing a mini skirt, and by mini I mean almost half her ass was on display. Her top was also mini, considering it could pass for a bra.

I rolled my eyes and turned around.

Jade was already dancing with some guy and I sighed seeing that everyone had abandoned me.

I decided to just walk around and find something to do.

"Hey! Wanna dance?" Some guy I realised as Kyle, a guy on the football team asked.

He was obviously drunk, as he swayed, looking just about ready to collapse. His eyes were half closed and the scent of alchohol radiated off him.

"No thanks. I'll have to pass on that one."

He grabbed my arm pulling me to his chest. "Oh come on. Don't ruin the fun."

His hand groped my ass and I was about to kick him in the balls when he grabbed my leg and put it around his waist.

"Let go you perv!" I tried pushing him away and kicking my leg, but to no avail.

"Be quiet. Don't piss me off. We're just having fun." He whispered in my ear pulling me flush against his sweaty body.

His manhood was pressed against my thigh and I kept squirming uncomfortably, trying to make as much distance between us as possible.

I could feel the tears welling in my eyes no matter how hard I tried to hold them in.

Suddenly, his body was ripped away from mine and I was about to fall over but someone caught me before I could.

As soon as I stood straight, I was set free and before I could blink, an unconscious Kyle was laying on the floor, blood leaking from his nose.

I looked up to see my rescuer walking away.

I was still frozen on the spot and did the only thing I could do at that moment. "Wait!" I screamed the loudest I could.

"Please. Wait!" The person kept moving and I finally came to my senses and moved.

I ran and grabbed their shoulder, pulling them to face me.

I gasped in shock as I came face to face with Alec.

What the hell?! Alec saved me. He was the last person I would ever suspect.

"You... You saved me?"

He looked furious for some unknown reason.

"Just... Never. And I mean never, speak of this to anyone. Ever!" And with that he walked away not sparing me a second glance.

What was that about?

I seriously don't know what his problem is.

I looked at him one last time before turning around and walking outside for some needed air.

There has to be something that causes Alec to act this way.

Alec. What the hell is wrong with you?

It's like he's bipolar or something. I seriously don't know if someone pissed him off but he definitely can't be taking his anger out on everyone.

Alec Johnson what the hell is your problem and what the fudge balls could have possibly caused it?

And one thing's for sure. I'm gonna find out.

I know it does not concern me but what the hell?!

I can never mind my own business.

"Hey Trish! I didn't know you were gonna be here." A voice interrupted my thoughts.

I turned around to see Brian.

We never really talked before so I was kind of surprised to see him there.

"Oh hey. The only reason I'm here is because kim kind of forced me."

"Oh ok. Well what brought you out here when the party's in there." He asked walking to the railing I was currently leaning against.

"I just came out here to get some fresh air." I mumbled looking down.

I could feel him looking down at me like he was trying to figure me out. "I see. Not the party type huh?"

I looked up at him to see he was giving me a small smile. "I guess you could say that." I returned the gesture then turned back around to look up at the beautiful night sky.

"Well I guess you're lucky cause I'm out here for the same reason. Needed some fresh air. I'll stay if you want, but if you want to be alone just say the word ."

"Yes I want to be alone." I wanted to scream but didn't want to come off as mean and bitchy especially since he was being so nice."Yeah sure. I could use someone to talk to anyway especially since my friends abandoned me."

He chuckled and gave me a reassuring smile. "Well no need to worry. I'll stay with you the whole night if you want. I really wouldn't mind."

I gave him a thankful smile then started a conversation.

"So, how did you and Alec become friends? He seems so mean and selfish and you seem so nice and generous. You guys are practically polar opposites."

"Well, they do say opposites attract. But we were kids when we became friends. It started in kindergarten one faithful day when I was being bullied. Alec came to my rescue and ever since then we were inseparable. He introduced me to Cole since they were already friends and soon after we met Caleb. Kind of cliche I know, but still true." He had a smile on his face the entire time as he spoke.

I couldn't help but smile myself.

Brian is not a bad guy. He's actually a great person to talk to.

We spent the rest of the night making conversation and just having fun until it was time for me to leave.

The sad part is I couldn't stop thinking about stupid Alec and how he saved me throughout the entire night.
