Chapter 6 I Meet Him

I really need to stop having these dreams. They are starting to scare me. The one I had last night was so sad, I was sad all morning. I hope nothing like this really happens. I don't want to fall in love and have my heart broken in one week!

The beach was really busy today. There were a lot, and I mean a lot of people. Me and Maddy's families went together today. It was really hot so we went to get ice cream, just me and Maddy. We both got vanilla ice cream cones and sat outside, admiring the beach.

"I think that shirtless guy over there is checking you out.", Maddy informed me.

"Yeah right. Nobody checks me out. He's probably looking at you."

"No I'm too young for him. You should go talk to him."

"Ha ha."

I looked over and he really was staring at me.  This surprised me so much I didn't even realize I started walking towards him. Maddy trailing behind me, knowing I would need help. But I didn't.

"Is there something in my teeth? Because some people including me don't take kindly to being stared at."

I was so shocked at what I just said. The boy seemed surprised, too. Maddy slapped me lightly on my back, a sign that I shouldn't be so harsh.

"N-no. I'm sorry. I just think y- your really pretty. A-and I wanted talk to you."

"Oh. No, I should be sorry. I was an asshole to say that."

"It's fine. I don't know many people who do like being stared at."

"Yeah..."

Suddenly I didn't know what to say. He only had a swim suit on, so he was shirtless. He had a six pack which all us girls know makes him instantly sexy. I started sweating and getting even more nervous by the second. I think he sensed that.

"Do you want to sit down with me?"

"Oh well, I don't want to leave my friend alone."

"No its cool. I'm about to walk home anyway. My mom just texted me and I need to watch my little bro. Bye, Chloe!", Maddy said.

"Oh OK bye!"

"So, Chloe is your name."

"Yeah what's yours?", I said sitting down beside him.

"Zack."

"That's so sexy!"

Oh...My...God. DID I REALLY JUST SAY THAT OUT LOUD?!

"Haha thanks. Chloe sounds so beautiful. Like its perfect for you. It suits you well."

He smiled the most beautiful smile I've ever seen. I blushed really bad. I could tell he noticed because he slid a little closer to me. I blushed even harder. He giggled and we talked for a little longer. Well not a little, I didn't even realize it but we talked for three hours!

Here's what I found out about Zack, he lives here, his favorite color is blue, he surfs, he's the same age as me, and his phone number is perfect just like him. If he is my dream boy, I would be okay with it. He seems really nice, and sweet. He texted me first.

Haha. So...do you want to meet me at the beach so we can watch the sun set together?

I'll meet you in 20 minutes ;)

OK great

I put on my nicest outfit I could find, with my swim suit under just in case we decide to have a late night swim, brushed my teeth, and rushed out the door.

"Isn't the sun set beautiful?"

"Yeah. It's the prettiest thing I've ever seen."

"It's not the prettiest thing I've ever seen."

I look at him with a confused look on my face. "Then what is?"

"You."

And with that he kissed me. It was the most romantic, passionate kiss I've ever had. We broke apart and he carried me wedding style to a blanket and we lay there together, talking and kissing sometimes. This was the best night of my life.
