I've been in the car for five hours and I already can't feel my legs. Thank God we are stopping at a gas station for bathroom breaks and all that good stuff. When I get out of the car I can barely walk. My dad realizes that and laughs at me. "Is this funny to you?" I ask.

"Well yeah considering you look like you have jello legs!"

"Ha ha very funny. NOT!"

He chuckles and walks in the store. Probably for his Pepsi he loves so much. I stretch for what feels like only ten seconds. I wanted to stretch for hours but we had to get back in the car for the next five hours. This is the worst torture of my life. I decide to distract myself and listen to music on my iPod. I can't wait for this to end.

We finally get close to the beach house. It's almost six now and I haven't ever been so happy in my life! We park in the driveway and start unpacking the car right away. After we are finished we sit outside in lawn chairs and look at the waves, waiting for the sun to set. I notice that the house to the left of us has a family doing the same thing. I notify my mom about this.

"Hey mom, wanna go say hi to that family over there?"

"Oh sure! That sounds like a friendly gesture."

"Yeah that's what I figured. Let's go!"

We walked over and my mom brought my dad too. They talked to the parents and I talked to a girl that looked like she was around my age.

"Hey, I'm Chloe."

"Hi! I'm Madison. Me and my family are staying here at the beach for a week and a half."

"Nice to meet you. Me and my family are staying for a week. Maybe we can hang out at the beach. I'm always up for making new friends.", I smiled.

"That sounds awesome. So I noticed you have a little brother, I do too. I'll call him down so they can hang out."

Madison walked into the house. I called Brandon over and he waited beside me. A boy that looked about 12 (which we find out he is), with blond hair smiled when he saw Brandon.

"Hi, I'm Chris.", he said.

"Brandon. Wanna go build a sand castle?"

"Sure! Let's go!"

The boys ran off and played in the sand. I sat down for a while and talked to Madison who I call Maddy now because that's her nickname. She's sixteen, so she's younger than me but we still have fun. We made plans to go to the beach tomorrow.

At about ten we all decided to go to bed. I sat in my temporary room and started to think about my dream boy. I haven't thought about him all day, maybe that means he's not real? I'm not sure but I will find out. Sweet dreams, me.
