Albert's POV

Jill left the room doing what she did best, talking her life way on her cell phone. Sometimes the woman talked a bit too much for her own good.

In fact, going back to our S.T.A.R.S days Jill spent most of her time talking rather than working. No wonder she and Chris made an ideal couple.

The only difference was she actually got her work done on time.

Jill smiled, the phone practically paste to her ears. Based on the bits and pieces of her conversation the caller ID was obviously Chris.

If it was possible to hear her heartbeat I'm pretty sure it would be dancing.

"I couldn't sleep without you" she stated, Jill masking her heavy yawn perfectly.

"I miss you too" she continued. Yes, she spoke to Chris indeed.

Only Chris would be dumb enough to believe that she was still at home. Didn't he find it strange that the place was a bit too silent?

Didn't they have offsprings and those things were often noisy?

Jill eyed me, nothing said as I entered the room she had just exited. Her eyes however, they said 'you owe me for this'. She was correct, in a strange way I owed each and everyone here.

Lives were interrupted by a error caused by me. It was a debt and I owed them a large amount of it.

I had the biggest dept to pay to Claire however as with all that we had been through, all the wicked things I've done she stood by me. I had stripped the woman's entire memory, hurt her in ways no one could imagine and issued the wickedest words.

I was responsible for some of the nightmares that kept her up at nights yet she still a chose to help me.

The question was, why?

"If your here to make fun of me let me save you the trouble..." Claire hissed as she stood but before she could leave I gripped her arm.

Well then...it was clear that to her I was fucked up in the head if she thought I had paused vital work just to play.

"What's there to seek humour from Miss Redfield?" I asked as she stared at the hand I had fasten in a vice grip.

"You tell me Johnny Bravo...the sickest things in life gives you pleasure" she told me. With all she had just said the name of the fictitious character was what grasped my attention.

If I remember correctly she had utilized that name more than three times. The funny thing was, every time she said that her eyes lit up followed by her lips curving onto a small smile.

She was the reason I had conduct a research on the character. Strange because it was really a waste of time but Claire always left me to wasting time in multiple ways.

Besides the blond hair and the shades I had no idea why she chose to call me that. For some strange reason I liked the name Zeus better.

Zeus was a Greek god, a man of strength and power beyond imagination while Johnny Bravo was a stocking and bra chasing idiot.

"I fail to see my affiliations with this fictitious character of yours" I stated as I stared down at her.

"Your actually right...Bravo has a smaller head" she told me in a matter of fact tone, my hands growing tighter around her wrist.

"Sit" was all I said as I released her, Claire shooting me a poisonous glare as she sat down. I sat next to her, my fist closed and my eyes positioned on them.

The words to start off with, I had none so being the wise man I was I sat in silence. In that way I could at least gather something.

"You suck at everything human you know that right?" Claire stated, her eyes too fixed on her hands.

"Is that so?" I asked as I looked at her, receiving the side view of her face.

"Why are you here?" She asked and for the first time in my life I felt offended. Words actually bothered me for the first time.

"Would you rather be alone?" I asked, Claire turning to face me.

"That actually came out harsher than it should...its just strange for a tyrant to offer comfort" Claire stated as I straightened as our faces were too close for comfort.

Another minute and I would have kissed her. That would only lead me to adding fuel to the fire and at this point Leon was the fire.

"I came to ask a question actually..." I told her, Claire's blue eyes narrowing to slits.

"You came here, leaving your important file reading just to ask me a question?" Claire asked as she blinked.

"Am I supposed to believe that?" She continued.

"I'm equivalently stunned Miss Redfield but my statement is true...my question is what bothered me the day you left." I began, my eyes fixed to hers the moment I removed my shades.

"Why do I get the feeling that you only left me physically? Deep down you had given up the fight you had sworn to hold. Why?" I continued and Claire laughed at herself.

"Because I like an idiot thought you actually cared about me...I like an idiot thought that you were in love with me and that I could change you" Claire stated.

As much as I loved Claire I really doubt her ability of changing me.

"I was...I was in love with you" I told her, Claire glaring at me due to the use of the words 'I was' rather than 'I am'.

The look she had on her face read disappointed. Disappointed that I was in love with her rather than being in love with her.

She continued however.

"You used me to get to Chris Wesker...I was your fucking puppet, there was no love in that" she stated as she stood.

"I never lied about caring about you Miss Redfield but I would be selfish to drag you to hell with me..." I stated as I stood, Claire glaring up at me.

"You and I both know I would have stayed with you..." She stated.

"And I would have been a selfish man to allow that...you had a child to care for for fucks sake!" I yelled, startling myself as I kept my yelling to a minimum when it came to Claire.

"What is it you feel for me now?" She asked and I kept silent. There was no need for a dead man to tell a woman that he loved her.

The less she felt for me the better.

She looked to the floor, hugging herself as she kept her eyes there.

"You don't feel anything for me do you? It's all lust isn't it?" She asked and I placed my shades to its rightful position on my face.

"And its better that way" I stated, Claire half smiling. A sad and sadistic smile, one I had become accustomed to using.

I looked away from her, soft lips touching my own as she stepped on my shoes in order to reach me. I fist her hair, my eyes closing on their own accord.

"Stay the hell away from me" she stated as she broke our kiss, my eyes brightening behind my shades as I watched her leave.
