Leon Scott Kennedy☝☝☝
Claire's POV
The moment I saw Leon heading in my direction was the very moment I ducked and dived. I enjoyed Leon's company greatly but when a gigantic snake was in the picture his company was no longer something to enjoy.
I rolled in mud, getting on my feet swiftly with my gun raised. Leon groaned, holding his stomach as he forces himself to stand.
The creature attempted biting but Leon held on to it's fangs skillfully and more so his life.
"Why is it this thing insist on digesting me?" Leon growled, pressure building as he held on to the snake's fangs. Seeing that it was a failure the snske retracted a bit, hissing dangerously.
I remained still, watching the creature caustiously as snakes tend to be mischievous. Their attack was never something you could predict correctly.
"What did anyone of us, besides the Weskers , ever do to deserve this" Jill asked out loud, Chris cranking his loaded gun.
"I'm sure if that thing could talk it would be able to give us the answer" he told her.
The snake hissed, a deadly glare given to each and everyone of us. Well I'm assuming the snake liked the colour of Leon's eyes as he was given the longest stare down.
While I was so close to the over grown venom holder it looked around for something else. If the thing wasn't actually out for a kill I would actually find it's gesture offensive.
The snake went for Leon, Jill and I firing hard in order to save him by slowing the creature down. Jill and I didn't get that to happen, in fact the bullets ricochet each an every time.
What was the creature's skin made of...iron? Then this wasn't a normal snake.
"Fuck! The damn thing is as hard as a crocodile!" I yelled. Alex scoffed.
"Based on the size of that thing you guys surely didn't expect it to have a tender outer layer?" She asked in a rhetorical way.
Leon growled, climbing the nearest tree as he fired at his attacker. Why was the snake so keen on taking down Leon first?
What about the two vicious blonds that were within the group? They deserved snake action more than anyone here.
Jill looked at Wesker, Ada throwing stones in an attempt to get the snake's attention. Let's just say this snake wasn't easily distracted at all though.
Ada would have had a better chance throwing boulders as to that large snake stones were only pebbles.
"Aren't you going to do something?" Jill asked as Wesker removed a test tube and a knife. He glared at her, the sickening glare he gave regularly.
"Of course I intend to do something Miss Valentine...that snake holds a powerful venom. I have no intention to let it run free" Wesker stated firmly as he was closer to the snake in the blink of an eye.
I simply blinked. The day Wesker truly cared about anyone would be the day the world would end.
"I was referring to Leon you blond asshole!" Jill yelled, Chris yelling for Leon who was now enclosed by the snake's deadly grip.
"Leon! Let him go! Leon!" I yelled unil my throat burnt, Leon paling with each minute.
"That thing is gonna kill him!" Chris yelled as he emptied his gun on the gigantic snake. Likewise I did the same.
Max screamed, the stone Ada once held falling as she covered her ears.
"Would someone shut him up before I do it permanently!" Ada hissed and I craddled little Max.
"Hide until this is all over" I told him and he nodded, heading behind a large rock. I then aimed at the snake once more.
Wesker placed two fingers in his mouth, a loud whistle being issued. For a strange reason the snake losened its deadly hold,an unconscious Leon falling.
We all cringed as the snake moved over Leon's body in order to get closer to Wesker. With a regular snake this would not have occured but at the size of this thing Leon just may be a dead man.
"Well if the death hug didn't kill him that surely did" Ada stated, Jill and I shooting her a nasty look.
Sure we all thought it but she didn't need to say it.
"Just you and me..." Wesker growled as he removed his shades, amber eyes on display. The snake's upper body rose as it stared at Wesker oddly.
I'm assuming it saw the similarity they shared. The amber eyes that could drive fear into anyone.
"Shouldn't we like... help him?" Jill stated as she aimed her gun while my asshole of a brother took a seat on the rock which Max took as a hiding place.
"Help him do what Jill?" Chris asked and his wife looked at him in disbelief, I did the same. He shrugged, loading his gun without care.
"Surely you don't expect him to take on that seventy feet of death alone" I stated and Chris raised a brow.
"We were raised better than to interfere with family conflicts Claire" Chris told me and Jill lowered her gun as she bursted into laughter.
"That's not fucking funny Jill..." I hissed.
I crossed my arms, Ada and I giving the couple a not so nice glare. Alex took a seat, toying with her gun before she spoke.
"Might as well you two laugh with them, Wesker would only decline your help if it was offered" Alex told us firmly. I looked to Wesker who was now on the snake's head jockey style, his teeth gritted.
"Cease that at once..." He growled as he grabbed the reptile's head with his bare hands.
"You guys can't be serious about him fighting that giant snake on his own" I stated and Jill gave a skeptical look.
"The guy is super strong Claire...we aren't. He'll live through one of it's bites...we won't" Jill stated and Chris pointed at Jill to indicate his approval of her statement.
"Super srong or not haven't you guys seen the size of that thing?" I asked.
"Look he saved Leon...we get that but that sure as heck don't mean I'm gonna hand my ass over on a platter to rescue his savage ass. I say let the serpent have a feast on his ass" Chris stated and I looked only to see a man being thrown in my direction.
Everything went black in that very moment.
