Claire And Wesker☝☝☝

Albert's POV

Humans...the most unreliable organisms. All the man was asked to do is get his hands on Claire's keys and bring them the me.

The man finally made his way back to the car, handing me the keys without looking at me. I looked at the keys, the gun raised as I did.

"You see the picture hanging from the mirror that's my wife and little girl...my little girl will be four tomorrow" the man stated and the fact that a tears slid down his cheek while he said this made me sick.

"What is she doing?" I asked as I looked back to the restaurant.

"She was on the phone...please don't do this...you can take my car and wallet and..." He went silent when I placed the gun to his temple.

"Being a man means you act the part also..." I hissed and the man nodded as I took the gun down.

I knew following this woman was the most foolish idea of all time. She never stayed one place. After the super market she found various things to do.

What surprised me the most was that with all this she didn't even take notice that each time a different car was secretly chasing her each and every time.

I looked to the restaurant with a scowl. It was when the rain came she finally exited the restaurant she had been in for hours with a white bag.

A loud thunder sounded, Claire squealing as she ran towards her car as the rain came harder. For a woman that battled various undead creatures I found her thunder fear quite amusing.

Claire fumbled with her bag and I frowned. She was just as unorganized as her older brother and had poor observation skills.

"Christopher have you completed the reports?" I asked as I stared down at Chris. He looked up at me with his his eyebrow arched.

"What report?" Chris asked and Jill kept her head down, pretending to be busy like the other officers. I fought the urge to growl or possibly shoot Chris in the head.

While Chris was the best man on the team he was not the most intelligent. If he was never constantly reminded of tasks they would never be completed.

I simply turned and headed back for my office with my teeth pressed against each other in an uncomfortable manner. I chose not to answer Chris as in doing so I would eventually toss him from his current position to the busy highway of this city.

I looked to the man next to me, his gaze fixed straight ahead still as his eyes remained moist.

"Where is your umbrella?" I asked and the man faced me. I raised the gun, reminding him why he should not look at me.

He resembled a deer caught in headlights and that was enough to give me and answer. His hands shook around the steering wheel as his mouth opened.

"I wasn't expecting this kind of weather" he stated shakily. I eyed him with my lips and nose positioned in disgust.

"Fucking useless" I hissed as I exit the car, gesturing for the man to get lost. The man did in haste, the car skidding in the rain and splashing Claire as soon as he drove by her.

"You prick!" Claire yelled as she returned to searching for her keys while I approached cautiously. She sneezed, shuffling through her bag as I came behind her.

My hands fell to my pocket, my eyes fixed to her wet red hair.

The woman tensed, her hands remaining in her bag as she looked at me through the black glass of the car. Her next move shocked me however, the woman before me let go of her bag and took off.

I caught her bags swiftly with one hands as I turned around.I toyed with the car keys resting comfortably in my hands, watching the woman hoped to speak with run as though her life depended on it.

******

I parked the car, stepping out into the rain once more, Claire glancing behind her as she climbed a wired fence four times her height. Her hands and and feet utilizing the small tilted boxes of the fence.

A poor choice for her to climb in this weather as it was easier to slide from the fence rather than get over it.

The moment she landed on her stomach I stepped closer, pulling her up roughly as she stared at me with shocked eyes.

I slammed her to the wall of the alley, my hand on her throat, feeling it move when she swallowed. I removed my glasses, placing it to my pocket as I stared at her.

"Enough" I hissed Claire giving me a hard glare as she brought her foot upwards, me moving away from her swiftly before her knees could make contact.

I wasn't human but my genital organs were still of great importance to me. She stabbed at me and I dodged her attempts with inhumane speed.

I moved back, gritting my teeth when my knife was no longer in its rightful position but in Claire's hand. Her eyes flared as stared at me.

My expression was calm and collected as usual and this angered Claire even more.

"Are you stalking me?!" She hissed and I made a face at her remark.

"Time is a valued asset, why would I waste it on you?" I asked and threw the knife to me and I did the same for her car keys. We caught them, looking at the respective items we held in her hands.

"Then why are you here?" She asked as she crossed her arms.

******

She watched the droplets of water an down the wind screen of the car as she leaned back into the car seat. I watched her, lips parting for a moment before the words finally came out.

"So this virus is real" Claire confirmed.

"I would travel all this way to share fiction" I told her.

"And why should I trust you?" She asked as she turned to look at me and I stared straight ahead.

"You shouldn't" I told her, Claire folding her lips at as soon as that was said.

"Then how am I supposed to help you?" She asked softly.

"Our aim wound be to retrieve the serum, not to bond in any way. I need an answer by the end of this month" I told her truthfully.

"You know I don't get why you care about the human race being wiped out. The last time I checked the virus is doing the very thing you have been trying to achieve" she hissed and I looked through the window.

Knowing it was a matter of time before she had it figured out I waited.

"Wait a second, how could I not see it" she hissed, starting the car before continuing.

"All this time you were requesting our help because you can't play god when there is a virus that can actually destroy you" she hissed on a broken voice.

"I was just made aware" I told her and her hands tightened its hold on the staring wheel.

"You still lied to me...you always lie because manipulation is your favorite game..." She hissed as she stared at me.

I got out of the car after taking the window down so I could look at her in the eyes.

"I didn't lie about loving you so you are wrong..." I told her firmly as I placed my hands to my pocket, watching her drive off slowly.
