Albert's pov
"Fuck!" Chris growled as he tried to force his way through the only means of entering a refuge. A small wooden window of a small house in the middle of nowhere.
Yes the windows had around four wooden blades removed but even with that amount of space Chris attempts were useless. It was like a bear fighting its way into a kid's nap sack.
If I couldn't fit through such a small space what luck did he have?
I crossed my arms, Chris still issuing chains of profanities as though his body would subsize in order to correct the situation. While I didn't believe in anything ficticous he would have better luck borrowing Dorothy's majic shoes.
I crossed my arms, in many occasions I've said it but really and truly Chris was a fool. I said this not just as his enemy but also as his former Captain.
"If I am able to visualize that I can't fit through such a small space, with the airbags you've grown on your arms...what makes you think your luck would grow Chris?" I gritted before hissing his name harshly, my facal muscles indicating my intense dislike for Chris's thinking skills.
"For once...I agree with doctor nose here...your way too thick for that Chris" Jill remarked as Chris finally gave up whatever he was doing.
I walked on Jill's foot under a facal expression that would indicate I didn't see her, Jill holding her injured foot. What I did was on purpose however as Jill needed to be thought a lesson.
"He did that on purpose" Ada whispered, Chris looking around before he spoke.
"He obviously did it on purpose, even a jackass could see it. And that is actually expected from an asshole" chris hissed.
"He can hear you" I clarified, my hands grabbing the smallest person I laid eyes on. Max screamed, his small feet leaving the ground as he sunk his nails into my lower arm.
"What are you doing! The monsters will get me!" Max cried and I gripped him even tighter.
"What you speak of is fiction and even if what you spoke of was true...if the monsters hadn't gotten you by now why would they bother at this point?" I growled.
At this point I was sincerely considering to throw him throughout the window.
"Cease that at once ...up you go" I gritted as I tried to put the boy through the window but based on the pressure he built in refusal, he thought otherwise about entering.
If only I had thrown him because at this point trying to push him upwards was usless.
I bared my teeth, dropping the boy like a dead animal.
"Very well then...you may break every fucking bone in your body trying to get through the window Redfield " I hissed but when the wong person gave me a reply I spun around immediately.
"Sure...I'll do it" Claire repeated, her eyes fixed to me for what I considered to be a long while. I stared at her in silence and most importantly astonishment.
When I said Redfield I was actually referring to the older Redfield. By no means was that directed at Claire.
"I must decline your generosity Claire...that statement wasn't for you" I clarified, Chris eyeing me in the wickedest way.
"And I said I'll do it...I'm a Redfield aren't I?" Claire stated and my facal muscles became involuntary at that moment.
Her stuborness will always provoke me for the little time I had left to live.
"I heard you...however you'll require guidance" I gritted as I lowerd, making the boost Claire would need to get up. She stepped up without care, climbing my body as though I was a tree.
If I didn't know better the red head actually tried to step in my face. Due to my efforts however she missed and I half smirked.
While the woman weighed nothing her knee cups were quite bony and capable for puncturing anything it came in contact with.
Without the virus's capability of hardening my organs lets just say I would have been a punctured tire just now. Upon my assumption that Claire was steadied properly I gave her a gentle shoved inwards.
The sound of many things on the inside breaking filled our ears, most persons cringing. Either I assumed wrong or my shove wasn't as gentle as I had thought.
"I actually think she's dead" Jill mumbled and Chris's eyes widened.
I rolled my eyes as I straightened, flexing my fingers.
"Claire?!" He yelled and the response was a heavy growl before her face was seen at the window.
As hard as her head I see.
"You said I needed guidance...not a a guide to death!" Claire yelled.
"My apologies" I told her meaningfully, Claire among the others blinking. Claire ambled away from the window in silence.
Shots sounded.
"Well...based on the explosions the house occupies another" I stated as I looked to the window.
"And you wanted to send the child into an infected dollhouse" Ada hissed as she gave me the look she always gave me.
One of hatred and sorrow. Hatred because she despised the way I took care of things and sorrow because she tried assassinating me more than once.
Failure has a bitter taste they say...
The door opened, Claire blowing smoke from her gun while she resembled a busy mechanic. Chris arched a brow.
"All clear" she stated with a smile as she stepped aside for us to enter the house.
When we were all inside something I found strange occored however. Range...
I could feel it within me, I wanted to strangle something to death and while I was a vicious man, this was beyond me. I closed my eyes, my hands taking hold of the closest thing I could reach.
Jill choked, her hands and feet desperately trying to get me away from her. I opened my eyes, Jill's crystal blue eyes going wide.
"What the hell is wrong with you?" Ada hissed as she removed her gun. Leon and Claire did the same, Claire shielding Max who wore wide eyes.
Chris grabbed onto me, punches being thrown without care yet I felt nothing. I showed no form of reaction, my eyes were on Jill and they stayed there.
"Drop her or we shoot !" Leon yelled and while I wanted to do nothing but cooperate my hands did otherwise. The grip got impossibly tighter.
Whatever waa rising witgin mw had full control.
"I knew trusting this bastard was a fucking mistake" Chris yelled as he was just about to fire when Leon and Ada indicated other wise.
I tried to speak but it was though the words were only in my mind.
Thats when I felt it, the coldness and brutality of an iron pipe connecting with my lower back. I grimance, Jill being released instantly.
She stared up at me from her position on the floor, another harsh blow connecting with my mid back followed by one that connected with my head.
Everything went black ...
