Claire's POV

"Are you sure you don't want me to come with you ?" Chris asked as I leaned over the island making a list of the items I needed. How many time was Chris willing to take no for an answer?

I looked to Chris who was busy raiding the fridge. It was nice having him looking out for me but for the most part it became annoying.

"Chris would you stop? Getting out of the house is one of the reasons I'm doing this" I added. I hadn't really been out of the house and I longed for the city. Chris groaned as he continued searching the fridge.

"You might wanna add beer to that list Claire" Chris pointed out as he looked over his shoulder and I rolled my eyes, adding bear to the list.

"How many eggs are there? I already added bacon to the list" I stated and Chris checked the freezer. I covered my face.

"No Claire looks like your gonna need some" be told me.

"I said eggs not ice cream Chris, who puts eggs in the freezer?" I asked and he checked the other section.

"One" He told me.

"Eggs needed then" I stated as I wrote that down.

My brother then straightened with a soda in his hand as he closed the fridge door. He then looked to his watch.

"Not the get home early lecture" I mumbled. So said so done.

"Its now three in the afternoon and since you said that you're doing this to get out of the house I don't expect you to be back anytime soon. However any later than ten and I'm calling code ATWSC" he told me as I eased of the island and closed my notepad. I arched a brow.

ATWSC...I was familiar with most army code but I had never heard of that one before.

"What the hell is code ATWSC?" I asked utterly confused. He sipped his soda before speaking.

"Assume That Wesker Snatched Claire" he told me and I made a face before punching his arm. As expected he felt nothing as he drained the soda bottle, tossing it to the trash bin a perfect score.

"Hey Claire could you get me some Chinese food on the way?" Jill yelled from the living room and Chris mouthed the word no to me. I smiled wickedly at my brother.

"Sure thing Jill" I replied and Chris gave me a death glare.

"Thanks young Redfield" she stated in an manner of appreciation. I pulled Chris's ears as I walked by him as I grabbed my bag along with his car keys.

"Please bring her back in one piece and not two, it would be sad if I had to raise my nephew" Chris warned.

"Leon's bike was an accident" I stated with a raised finger as I headed out, closing the door behind me.

As soon as I unlocked the car I placed my bag on the passenger side of the car before getting in. I wrapped my hair into a loose ponytail, adjust the rear view mirror as I was shorter than Chris was and all I saw with the mirror's previous position was mid air.

Starting the car I pulled out of the drive way, heading for the supermarket I always bought groceries at. I was tempted to call Leon but I knew he was busy.

I sighed, staring at the ring on my finger. It wasn't even a month yet and I was already missing Leon. I stared at the stoplight ahead, hoping I would reach before the lights decided to change.

Not liking the silence I turned the radio on, the song being played wasn't really my kind of music but I was to lazy to change the station. I opened the club box to put my phone in only for me to close it back with haste.

Resting comfortably in it was a few female undergarments. Jill and Chris would not hear the end of this.

Maybe walking the the super market would have been a better idea even though it would have been time consuming and tiring.

A nice black car pulled up behind Chris silver BMW as soon as the lights flicked from amber to red. My car came to an halt at the shop light, the car behind me coming to a halt also.

I looked at the car through my rear view mirror, trying to see she if I could see what type of car it was.

Benz...

I smiled to myself, maybe if one of the organizations I applied for decided to call in a few months I could be driving a ride like that. Yeah right, as is if I applied to the agency Leon worked at.

Keep dreaming Claire...

To earn the type of money needed to buy that car I would have to work about four jobs and still be a prostitute. My phone rang, pulling me from my car fantasy. I answered on the first ring and placing the phone on speaker as I threw it back to my lap.

"Did you get the beers yet?" Chris asked and I relaxed into my seat.

"Are you close to a dictionary?" I asked.

"No why?" He answered with a question.

"Too bad, I wanted you to look up the words Traffic and stoplight" I told my brother.

"That's not funny Claire" he stated strictly.

"Its a little funny Chris" I stated with a smile.

"Ten remember. Take care " he stated before ending the call. As soon as the light changed to green the car behind me honked and I gritted my teeth taking my window down.

Now if I didn't know wait the colours meant did this ass think I'd be driving?

"I'm not fucking blind you moron!" I yelled as I drove off, taking the tinted glass up as soon as I placed my head back into the car. I shook my head slowing down so asshole with the attractive car could get by me.

The car stay there, me shaking my head. Some persons were brought into this world to torment others. As soon as I made a turn the car did the same, raising alarm signs.

Was this guy following me?

As soon as I saw him get around me I relaxed, Wesker sure did a great job at making me a paranoid woman. I smiled upon seeing the supermarket, turning into the drive way immediately.

After finding a parking space I parked the car, ensuring to take all the windows up. The last thing I need was to come back with grocery bags and no car.

I would surely relate to Leon's bike if something like that happened. I grabbed my bag, taking out the garage keys only to throw it into my bag along with my cell phone.

I then exit the car, slamming the door shut as soon as I did. I removed the note pad, staring at the items I wrote down before heading in.

Well well...let's see what happens next time.
