"Bradley?" Kelly said walking into the waiting room.

"Yeah." I said my voice cracking, tears rolling down my face.

"What What what's wrong?"

"John, he's..." I didn't finish I just cried.

"He can't be Bradley he'd never leave you, he told you that."

"But they made me wait out here." I cried.

"If he wasn't here anymore they would have let you stay in there with him."

"Are you sure Kelly?" I asked.

"One hundred percent." He said.

"Ok." I whispered and he sat beside me and wrapped his arms around me. I cried in his shoulder.

"Bradley Beal? John Wall wants to see you." A nurse said walking out.

"What?!" I asked jumping up.

"Right this way." She said smiling. I walked back with her.

"Oh John." I said running in and sitting in the chair right beside him.

"I'm sorry." He whispered.

"What why John you did nothing?"

"I scared you." He said and I grabbed his hand.

"Yeah you did John I don't know what I'd do without you, but your here now."

"I know and I'm never gonna leave you Bradley." He said and I smiled at him. "Don't cry." He said and for the first time all day he smiled.

"It's been a long day." I said leaning back in my chair.

"Yeah." He said.

"You wanna go to sleep?"

"I might." He said.

"Do, you need the rest. I'll stay here."

"No don't." He said.

"I'm gonna, and someone else is here to see you if you wanna see them real quick."

"Sure." He said and I went and got Kelly.

"Hey bro how you holding up?" He asked quietly when he walked in and saw him.

"Better than before." He said and forced a smile.

"I thought I'd just come check on you."

"Thanks man." John said and they talked a while.

"Hey Bradley come here." John said late at night.

"Yeah." I said cause I hadn't gotten an hour of sleep.

"Lay by me, it'll be fine." He said scooting over.

"Are you sure?" I asked and he shook his head. I laid beside him. And I'll admit it wasn't the best. Two bulky NBA players in one tiny hospital bed isn't the best situation to be in. But at the time, I wouldn't have wanted it any other way. "I love you John." I said and I kissed him.

"I love you to Bradley." He said and he kissed me quickly. "And remember I'm never gonna leave you." He said and I smiled. We both drifted off to sleep.
I woke up the next morning.

"Where am I?" I asked myself quietly. I sat up and remembered the events of yesterday.

"Bradley?" John asked tiredly.

"Yeah?" I said.

"Nothing just wanted to make sure it was you." He said and I smiled.

"Oh y'all are finally awake." Kelly said waking in the room with a cup of coffee.
