"Viv, babe, Daddy needs you to big for a few minutes," Daddy said, waking me up from my nap. I must've fallen asleep while he was driving because I don't remember being in Alaska already.

"Okay, Daddy," I said, wiping my eyes and trying to become big Viv again.

"How old are you Vivian?" Daddy asked.

"17," I replied, grabbing his hand that was placed on my knee.

"We're stopping here just long enough to say hi. Then we can go to our home. Alice already has it decorated and most of our stuff moved in," he explained.

"Thanks Jazzy," I said. "For being okay with me not being comfortable around everyone in little space."

"You're welcome, love," he said. "It's all part of being a good Daddy. If you aren't comfortable with it, then it isn't going to happen."

"I love you Jazz," I said.

"I love you too Viv. Now, let's go see the Denali's," he said, pulling the car up in front of their mansion. He parked the car, and we got out, instantly being greeted by the five members of the Denali coven.

"How have you been?" Kate asked.

"Good," I said, smiling and nodding a little. I grasped onto Jasper's hand, holding it tightly as he spoke to Eleazar, the only male member of the coven.

"We were curious as to why you and Jasper won't being staying with us. We have plenty of space," Tanya said.

"We understand, and we appreciate that. We were going to take off on our own, but after seeing how terrible Esme took Edward leaving, we couldn't do that to her again. So, we're going to stay in our cabin instead. We just got engaged yesterday, so we want our own space for a little while," I said.

"Well, then, congratulations on your engagement. May I see the ring?" Tanya asked. I slid my hand from Jasper's causing him to stop talking mid-sentence and look at me worriedly. When he saw I was only moving my hand to show the girls my ring, he relaxed and smiled at me before continuing his conversation.

"It's beautiful. You got yourself a man with taste," Kate said.

"And someday, you will get yourself a man," I said, attempting to reassure her that he's out there.

"Someday," she said wistfully.

"Won't you come inside for a while?" Eleazar offered. Jasper looked at me, silently asking if we wanted to stay.

"It won't hurt to hang out until Carlisle and Esme arrive," I said. Jasper agreed to Eleazar's offer and we headed inside to the main sitting room.

Jasper took a seat in an arm chair and immediately pulled me into his lap.

"Ew, not on the furniture," Kate said.

"What?" I asked.

"Kate and Tanya have adopted a very strict 'no lovey dovey anything on the furniture' rule," Carmen said.

"Do I even want to know?" I asked.

"Irena and Laurent are unbearable sometimes," Kate said in attempt to defend herself.

"Where is Laurent?" Jasper asked as he wrapped his arms around me and folded his hands in my lap.

"He said he wanted to be alone for a few hours," Irena said, almost shrugging it off. It went without saying that, at least between Jasper and I, it was assumed he was out hunting a human.

Jasper began talking to the Denali's about the last few years. We keep in fairly good contact with them, but something's aren't always passed along from one coven to the next. Alice, Rose, and Emmett joined us in the sitting room only fifteen minutes after our arrival. We stayed there for several more hours, discussing the past few years and waiting on Carlisle and Esme's arrival.
