"Ready?" Jasper asked as I slid a leather jacket on.

"Yeah, are you?" I asked.

"I'm ready for today to be over," he said. "I'm scared I'm going to slip."

"I will be right there the whole time. You've got this under control babe. I know you do," I said.

"I've slipped up before," he said.

"Babe, you and I both know that was not your fault. Bella shouldn't have cut herself," I said.

"Baby, that isn't how that works," he said, interlacing our fingers so we could walk out to the battle area.

"I love you so so much Vivian," Jasper said, kissing the top of my head as he hugged me. We were all standing in a field waiting for the battle to get started. We had broken off into pairs, and Alice was pacing nervously because her and Seth had been separated. She was however, calmed by the fact that she knew he would safer on the mountain with Edward and Bella.

"I love you too Jasper," I said, leaning back to kiss his lips quickly before leaning our foreheads together.

"Hey lovebirds," Emmett yelled, trying his best to keep the mood light.

"Coming," I yelled.

"Yell if you need anything," Jasper said, kissing my temple before going to stand beside Carlisle. I stood between Rosalie and Alice and waited for something to happen.

As soon as I heard their footsteps, I started catching glimpses of pale skin in the woods. Even with the pack, we were severely outnumbered. The first wave of newborns hit the forest line and everything went crazy. I grabbed onto the smallest newborn, who had coincidentally also headed right for me.

It only took a matter of two seconds to snap the head from the torso and light the pieces on fire. Jasper made sure that I knew my number one priority was to burn the pieces so no one could reform. If I thought about it for too long, it creeped me out because it was so morbid.

Another newborn came after me, baring it's teeth. The second before it sunk it's teeth into my neck, I pulled water from a nearby River and filled it's lungs with water. It wouldn't hurt him, but it was enough to through him off and I could kill him. I tossed the pieces towards the fire, hoping to get at least part of him burnt without getting myself killed.

The wolves were killing machines, so the battle didn't last very long at all. Once we collected all the remains, I noticed one newborn. Esme was holding her tightly, reassuring the young girl that Carlisle and Esme would do everything within their power to protect her. Especially when Alice froze and had a vision of the Volturri showing up in about twenty minutes.

"Vivian," Jasper said, hugging me tightly. I buried my face in his chest, holding onto him tightly.

"I love you princess," he said softly as I began to sob. "Shh, what's wrong, baby?"

"I, I had, I had to kill other beings," I said, holding onto Jasper. "They had families hoping to find them."

Bella screamed out to Jake as he phased back and groaned in pain. A newborn had wrapped his arms around Jake and shattered the entire right half of his body.

"What?" I asked.

"Shh, babe, the wolves have it under control," Jasper said softly, trying to help me calm down. If I wasn't calm soon, he would force me to be, but he didn't want to do that.

"Jasper," I said softly, and he knew what I wanted. I wanted to be little and forget about having to kill other vampires.

"When we get home babe," he said, holding me against his chest as the wolves carried Jake off into the woods towards Billy's house.
