Remi ran through the nearby forest in her Somber form; she was running for her life. The world was in shambles; deserted. The only people that were left were Shiloh, their kids and his father. Shiloh had found out about her Somber and other forms besides her Lucent. He was frightened of her and wanted her disappeared from his life. 'Shiloh, please don't do this. I am going to die if you say it. Please!' she pleaded to him in his mind.
"I am sorry it has to be this way, Remi. You just aren't safe for us. I don't know why I loved you," he commented back aloud. "I don't believe in you anymore."
Remi stopped running. She could just feel her heart slowly stop beating. Collapsing to the ground, her body slowly giving out on her. She could hear his voice repeat those words in her mind, 'I don't believe in you anymore. I don't believe in you anymore. I don't believe in you anymore.' The more he said it, it hurt Remi more. It eventually killed her, right there in front of him. The last thing she saw was a smile across his face as he said the final word.

Remi jolted up from her bed and looked next to her, seeing Shiloh reading a book. Her heart raced as she clenched her shirt, "You alright, sweetie?" he asked, closing his book gently. He had a concerned look on his face as he flashed his light to face her.
"I--I had a nightmare...that you didn't want me...and y--you..." Remi got cut off by Shiloh kissing her gently. Shiloh pulled away and gave her a smile, "I would never do anything to hurt you. I will always love you, no matter what happens," he whispered as he played with a pendant that Remi had given him in his mailbox during the three months they couldn't see each other. It was the symbol of her kingdom. Remi had one too, but it was a bracelet instead of a necklace. The set meant that the two were going to be king and queen some day of her kingdom. Shiloh had learned that Remi's mother had given the set to her.
"Do you remember what they stand for?" Remi asked softly. She fiddled with her bracelet as she looked at him.
"I do," was all he replied with. Remi smiled shyly and she heard a faint knocking on her bedroom door. A head poked through and it was Mrs. Owens.
"Turn on the news...you both may want to see it," she informed. The two looked at each other and quickly turned on the television in Remi's room.
"Attention, a large Somber is roaming the city in search of a human child that goes by the name, Braylen Oaks. They have sandy white hair, bright blue eyes, lightly tanned skin and they were last seen in a red hoodie, black jeans and red converse. They are eight years old and are frightened, so please don't approach quickly. They were last seen near West Webster elementary school this morning. If you have any information, please call the local police so they can find the child and keep them safe. Now, on to your local puppy news," the news anchor told. Remi looked to Shiloh and he was already on his phone, calling someone.
"Is he with you?" was all he asked. Remi tried to listen in on the conversation, but she could barely hear the other side of the phone. "Good, stay there. Remi and I will be there in ten minutes," he replied. He jumped out of bed, threw a pair of jeans and a shirt on before grabbing his shoes.
Remi got out of bed and put on a pair of comfy jeans, a hoodie and socks on. She threw up her hair and slipped on her no tie converse. "Where are we going? Please tell me we aren't walking," she groaned. She could feel the twins fighting inside of her uterus and she growled every time they kicked or punched her in the wrong spot. She was going to go in to labor any day.
"Relax, sweetheart. I am driving and we are going to the hideout that Arlo, Winter and I used to go to when we were kids. Braylen is my half brother," Shiloh explained scratching the back of his head nervously.
