2~ Welcome Back Blackrose

I watched nervously from behind the door at Mr. S wrote the word BEATLES on the whiteboard. You know, coming back to McKinley made me realise how much I really did miss this school. I missed being a student here, but now I'm a temporary mentor. Maybe I won't screw up as badly as I did being a student?

"I don't think we've ever spent two weeks on an assignment Mr. Shue." I heard Tina say.

"Hey, the Beatles are so epic that we need two weeks to do them justice." he replied. "This week is all about the early years of the Beatles, when all they had was a belief in each other. And a belief that together; they could do anything."

"Ugh, the school year seems like it's never ending and we're wasting two whole weeks on a band from the 1940s?" I really do not like Kitty. "Seriously, can anyone still relate to the Beatles?" she asked.

"Pretty much the entire world." -Blaine

"Yeah, I can definetley still relate." -Ryder

"Why? Were the Beatles dyslexic and catfish transexuals?" she asked.

"And you wonder why everybody hates you." Tina said.

"When George Harrison was a kid, he was made fun of because his dad was a bus driver." Marley said. 

"John Lennon's dad wasn't even around. He walked out of John's life when he was five." Noah added. It seems that those two are an equal yet unequal match. I can't explain it.

"I don't really know the Beatles. I'm a little on the black side." Unique said.

"And Ringo Star was a sickly little kid which probably means he was sitting down a lot." Artie finished. 

"And they decided to form a band, which changed the world." Mr. S said. "Now you guys are really going to have to challenge yourselves this week, bring your A games. Perform these classic songs in new and exciting ways. If we can push ourselves to a whole new level like the Beatles did constantly, we'll have back-to-back National championships and form a New Directions Dynasty!" he exclaimed. Then everybody went into an uproar of cheers.

"But wait, how are we even supposed to follow in New Directions' formality when they aren't even around anymore?" Unique asked. Blaine, Sam, Artie, and Tina all cleared their throats at him...or her...I really don't know anymore.

"That's why I recruited a little extra power from one of our friends across the country. Come on in." that was my cue. I only took two steps into the classroom before Tina shot up and engulfed me into a hug. She was like my little sister while i was here.

"Oh my God Reese we missed you so much!" she exclaimed.

"Aw, I missed you guys too!" Blaine wheeled Artie up to greet me, then Sam came over and lifted me into an off-the-ground hug.

"I missed you Blackrose!" he said.

"Seriously? We are done with Blackrose. The superhero rave is over, call it a day Evans." I said to him.

"Um, Mr. Shue not that we don't love seeing fashion twad back over here with her army boots and cherry splattered red dress, but why is she here?" Kitty asked. I really do not like her at all.

"I'm here Lima Bratz Doll because sectionals and regionals was practically a breeze. Nationals is a whooole other topic. So Mr. S invited me back to give all you rookies a run-in for the job. If you got a problem you can go sob in the janitor's closest." I smirked. That shut her mouth tight.

"Reese has one of the best voices out of the New Direction graduates, and I thought since Finn is off as college that her giving us a little insight would be useful on our journey to Nationals." Mr. S said.
