The employees of The New Warbler were gathered on the dance floor, while the company lawyer -- Ms. Pilsbury -- informed them of the events of last night and what they were instructed to do until this case was solved.
"I know you all worked late last night, may be short on sleep, but I need to prepare you for what happens next." she said. Ms. Pilsbury was a young, petite red head, but you mustn't let her looks trick you, as she was a killer in the court room. "Anybody not heard about our murder?" she asked. None of the employess reacted. "Good, because you are all suspects."
That rose alarms for the hard-workers. They were unsure of what to do in this moment.
They had to move out of the way as Detective Fabray and the CSI came out with the body in a bodybag. The bag however wasn't fully closed, and his arm slipped out. The DJ, Artie, felt like he was going to throw up.
"Somebody turned off the security cameras." Detective Fabray said to the team.
"You think the killer is one of us?" the bartender -- Mike -- asked.
"With all do respect, do you mind Detective Fabray? I am conferring with my clients." Ms. Pilsbury said.
"Are you like, acting as our solicitator in this matter?" Puck, the door bouncer asked.
"I'm the nightclub's lawyer. You are welcome to call up your own." she replied.
"But if we didn't do it than why do we need a lawyer?" Rachel, the hostess, asked.
"I didn't kill anyone." one of the waitresses said, her name was Tina.
"Kurt screamed when he saw the body, so he's off the hook right?" Sam asked.
"Yelped, not screamed." Kurt said, becoming really irritated with his co-worker's accusations.
"He screamed like Slutty Girl #1 in a Teen Horror flick who just had the all her juices scared out of her." a waiter, Blaine said.
"Wanky." the assistant manager, Santana sang.
"From here on in, you do not answer questions you don't get asked." Ms. Pilsbury said.
-
"Consider me your top suspect." Sam started, as he sat in interrogation with Detectives Fabray and Clarington, along with Ms. Pilsbury.
"Oh for God's sake." she muttered under her breath.
"I'm a trained chef, alright? Finest schools in Europe, but my professional life consists of cooking chicken wings designed to make people drink more beer. I'm a man on the edge." he said. Detective Claringtom threw pile of pictures towards the chef.
"Your wings have been voted 'Best in the City' two years running." Detective Fabray said as Chef Sam looked at the crime scene photos.
"Not best, tallest. I'm the originator of the Tower of Wings." he replied. "Which'll probably be on my tombstone. Never seen him in my life."
-
"You're the hostess, you see everyone who comes in." Detective Fabray said.
"Uh, maybe if you had a picture of him alive? I don't have a very good imagination." Rachel replied after looking at the photos.
-
"He looks like a lot of guys. Is that his real hair?" Tina asked.
-
Puck shook his head.
"Let the record show that my client is indicating with his head that he does not recognize the victim. Like all my clients. Next question." Ms. Pilsbury said.
