3~ Help!!!

The next day I was in the choir room waiting for the glee kids to file in. I heard about some extravagent performance earlier the day before, which Kurt was there to witness, and which meant the two of them were FINALLY (emphasis on finally) back together. It's about damn time too. I was getting really sick of that creep Adam hanging around the loft. Plus I know Blaine and I trust him with Kurt...well not to keep his buddy there in his pants but whatever, it's none of my business.

"Okay listen up everybody!" Mr. S walked in with Blaine following, looking like he was just about ready wet himself. In other words, he looked very nervous. "Blaine has a very special announcement to make."

"That's right. As most of you know, Kurt and I are officially back together!" he grinned. Everybody started clapping with joy and cheering. 

"About damn time too." I added. Blaine ignored me and went to sit down.

"But, what most of you don't know, and this is top secret...is that I am going to ask Kurt to marry me." okay, even I didn't see that one coming. But hey, if he was happy, I'm happy. No one else seemed to agree with me...except for Sam though. He got up and started applauding.

"Yeah guys come on! Get up! Come on guys! This is my best friend! Gay marriage good! It's good. Good things, they're all happening so fast. It's good-" he started going a little too far, until I took him by the shoulders and told him to dial it down.

"Anyway," Blaine continued. "I want this proposal to be incredible, so I'm asking for all your help," that can be easily  done. "But I'm also asking for some of our competitors help." maybe not easily done. "Like the Warblers," is he trying to torture me? "anf Vocal Adrenaline," oh good I'm going to have to run in to a bunch of hugh gymnasts, "and the Havenbrook School for the Deaf," and those kids creep me out.

"Uh-Vocal Adrenaline? No ma'am." that came form Unique.

"Yeah the Warblers are evil incarnet little craps!" outburst from Ryder, which his statement totally wasn't true if you get what I mean.

"Are you crazy? Are you insane? Good God have you lost your mind?" and the final outcry came from Tina before everybody started shouting and protesting. Time for a little of the Lavek family medicine.

"HEY!" I shouted, quite loudly in fact. "Blaine, you may have the floor." I followed then.

"Thanks Reese. Look guys, I want this to be more than just an ordinary proposal, I want this to be a cultural statement." he said.

"Sure you do." I whapped the back of Jake's head after he said that.

"Control your boyfriend." I muttered to Marley.

"Hey, our generation is at a turning point. People everywhere -- except like...Russia -- are beginning to see that it doesn't matter who you are or where you're from or-or even what God you believe in! They're beginning to see that people really aren't all that different. And honestly, if we can get a bunch of cut-throat show choirs to stand side-by-side and unite in something? Than anything is possible." someone should really record that because that was beautiful. Martin Luther King would be shedding tears at this I'm sure.

"Okay, okay. But Blaine is just using the world of rival glee clubs as a metaphor for this incredible time that we're in." Artie said. "I still think you're too young." 

Blaine looked at Sam, who looked at me, we had an idea.

I couldn't believe we ran from Carmel High, then HSD, then Dalton, and sang a whole song, and we still had our breath. We had VA on our side, we had HSD on our side, how 'bout the Warblers?

"We need an official vote, but in spirit of brotherhood and cleaning up our tarnished reputation, I think we'd be happy to help." Trent said. He's got a point, the Warblers need so good cred real bad.

"Uh Trent," oh no, here it comes. There he was, butting in to be club leader. Too bad he's so cute. "We said I'll do the talking." and yet, he's still a Bossing Billy. You know, he wasn't even wearing gel in his hair? He had shaved it down, it actually looked really good.

"All in favor of helping Blaine?!" Sebastian shouted. The entire room, deaf or not, raised their hands and shouted 'I!" in response. Now we can get on with the celebrating.

Sam and Blaine high-fived each other, then they hugged me, everybody was cheering and dancing around, believe it or not, Blaine even hugged Sebastian! I didn't think the two would come two feet after their incident. But who knows?

Maybe people can change?
