The party occured shortly after the proposal at Breadstix. All three schools were there, along with the teachers, and the inter-state graduates from last year. I was thrilled to see my friends so happy, dancing, laughing, drinking, just having a good time. I decided to just hang in a corner table with a dingy class of champagne. It wasn't very good champagne, but hey, it was liquor and I could use a drink...or five.

"What is a beautiful girl like yourself sitting all alone here?" Sebastian strutted over with a glass of wine. I grinned at him.

"Oh you know, just hanging out with a plant who can't keep his leaves out of my hair and a terrible glass of champagne." I replied.

"Mind if I join you?" he asked as he sat down.

"You already are." I replied.

"Are you happy? For them I mean?" he asked. I looked towards Kurt, who was splitting a cupcake with Blaine.

"Of course, they're my best gays so of course I'm happy." I said. Sebastian chuckled.

"Best gays?" he asked.

"Yeah, I got my bestfriends and my best gays. There is such thing." I replied.

"If you say so. When do you go back to New York?" he asked.

"Next weekend. I think I'm ready." I replied.

"Why did you stay?" he asked.

"I think you know why." it took a minute for it to click in Sebastian's brain.

"Oh. I see."

"Yeah, I couldn't go back yet. I needed some Glee ordered rehab. And you know now-now I'm ready to get back to work." I replied. He smiled at me.

"Good. I want the best for you." he said.

"Just like I want the best for you." we sat there, staring at each other, and I felt my cheeks go pink.

"You're blushing. You're beautiful when you blush." he said.

"And you are a total flirt. I thought you'd learn your lesson after the last time we met." I replied.

"Really? You don't like receiving sweet compliments from a very charming young man?" he asked.

"I do, but not when the very charming young man is supossed to be my ex-boyfriend." I said. Sebastian's smug smile fell.

"Right, I'm sorry. We're just supposed to be friends. I remember." he replied. This is becoming ridiculous.

"That's right," he put on a sad smile.

"But we can't." I said. Sebastian's head perked up then.

"What?" he asked.

"These past few days made me realise that...we can't be just friends. I think about you all the time...and I know you think about me. I know that you still love me, and I can't stop my heart from loving you." I said. He started to smile that handsome and curious smile.

"You mean that?" he asked.

"Absolutely. You and I are what people like to think of as...like...Othello and Desdemona or-or um...Noah and Allie. We can't be seperated. Blaine's proposal speech today made me think about us. You know, I feel like I know you from a long time ago. It's kind of like, we were set on this earth through hundreds of life times, and we always come back and find each other. Whether it was a regal proposition in front of a royal court or just some shawty meal at a terrible restaurant, it's like...we can't be apart. I love you too much to even forget about you. And I can't go back to New York without making things right between us." I said, now realising I was making a very large but wise rant.

"Do you really believe that?" Sebastian asked.

"I do. And I'm sorry if my words totally creeped you out," I laughed at that, "but I mean what I say. And I can't stop loving you. You are the only guy for me." I replied.

"So, does that mean that you and I aren't just two ships that pass in the night?" he asked.

"No, we are Romeo and Juliet, Cinderella and Prince Charming, or-or-"

"Bonnie and Clyde." he said, which made me laugh.

"Sure, Bonnie and Clyde. Why not." I said.

"Yes, partners in crime. You and me against the world." he replied. I put my hand in his.

"You and me against the world." I smiled.

"So, what would you like to claim us as?" he asked.

"Depends, what would you like to be claimed as?" I said.

"How about, we try the forbidden boyfriend-girlfriend game again? Just until I graduate and we go public." he replied.

"Sounds great. Let's do it."

"Does that mean I can kiss you again?" he asked. I quickly checked to make sure nobody was watching us, then I nodded and kissed him.

"It does, but sometimes I might be the one who plants a kiss on you." I whispered.

"Do you want to get out of here?" he asked.

"It is getting kind of crowded." I replied.

"I know this great bistro in Westerville that has these desserts you would love. But honestly, they're not as good as those cupcakes you made." he said.

"I told you it was worth the wait." I said.

"You were right, it was." he replied.

"We should get out here. It looks like the deaf school teacher had one too many bourbon shots." I said when I looked over at Mr. Scarlet Fever.

"Grab your coat, we are going for dinner." he said as he stood up.

"Let's go Hairgel." I grabbed my coat off the chair as he led me out of Breadstix. I caught Rachel's eye before I left, she winked at me with a giddy expression on her face. I put a finger on my lips so she would keep this quiet.

Rachel's POV

"Was that Reese leaving?" Kurt came up and asked me.

"Uh yeah, she told me she was feeling a bit feverish so she decided to hit the sack. She says congradulations though." I replied.

Looks like my bestfriend is back.
