It went from carelessly tying my dull brown hair to actually perfecting my light and dark blue hair, I just felt like I could take advantage of having nice azure hair, the natural waves made the color look perfect reminding me of the deep blue seas.

I took my time applying chocolate flavored lip gloss and mascara after slipping over my white high-low shirt and ripped jeans. It was a strange to find Zachary sound asleep on the couch, what convinced him to take a break from playing video games? Mornings were kind of chilly and the AC was still on from yesterday, he probably forgot to turn it off as always. I grabbed a light blanket from a guest room downstairs and covered his cold skin, he looked so peaceful which I had to smile for. Smile once and for all at my ... I don't really know what to refer to him as. We weren't really friends nor enemies, so for now I won't label him as anything until we're on good terms.

"Sammy is that you?" for that split second my heart dropped as if I was caught commiting a crime. Thinking I woke up Zach, I sighed in relief at Austin's husky voice. I really didn't want to wake the poor guy up because he really needed his sleep time. He wasn't diagnosed with insomnia or anything, he simply refuses to rest his body for 8 hours, sometimes he'd sleep for 2 hours, sometimes a day would pass without sleeping a wink.

"Shhh" I shushed him, bringing my finger over my lips.

"He's asleep isn't he" he smirked and cross his arms over his bare chest. He probably didn't notice his boxers were a bit too down low, so I tried not to smile. "Why are you smiling?"

"Am I not allowed to smile?" I asked in disbelief, widening my eyes.

"You know what I mean. There's something you're not telling me" he cautiously stared into my eyes. "Tell me".

"I recommend you to pull up your boxers" I shook my head at him, it happened before, the first time his face was red but not redder than it was now.

He mumbled a few words I didn't quite catch as he walked into his room, locking the door behind him. As I looked back down, remembering who was asleep just a foot away, I realized he has awoken with his eyebrows pulled together. He startled me at first because his sandy hair was messy and his eyes stared through mine in irritation. It wasn't cute as it appeared on Austin and nor was it attractive (there was no way I'd call him that anyways, despite being that way...).

"Stop being a pervert" he smirked at me. Since we were kids, he stopped joking around with me at some point. So this was a bit of an improvement I guess.

"I wasn't checking you out" I defended, crossing my arms.

"Then why are you standing there?" he challengingly interrogated.

"Well sorry for actually caring about your health" my tone automatically raised in annoyance.

"I never wanted you to care" he wasn't being serious was he? He's such a jerk, I can't even bear talking to him. I swear he was an ungrateful bitch.

"Next time I'm leaving you freeze to death then!" I shouted at him, I didn't care if I woke up anyone because Zach seriously needed for once to act civil towards me. I tried many times because fighting and arguing wont get us anywhere although he's too much of an asshole for my forgiveness.

"Who said I was even sleeping?" he devilishly grinned, oh I wish I'd slap him so hard that it'd leave a mark. No one's going to get him back into reality however I really didn't want this to turn out as WWIII

"What do you mean you weren't sleeping?" I was sure I woke up a few people cursing at me with that tone of mine.

"You know what does "I wasn't sleeping" supposed to mean?" he gave me an irked look and rolled his green eyes.
