I anxiously swivelled round to examine the handsome boy who sat next to me. He had said my name. I never really used to get on with boys, I didn't really bother with them as much so to have this reaction really made me smile. I snappishly said "Hello" as I didn't want to be rude. He eagerly noticed that I was feeling nervous and replied "It's okay you know, I have it too, around new people I feel anxious and it's okay to feel that way, I won't hurt you." I smiled at him and breathed for a moment. "What's your name?" I asked him, and instantly he replied "Harry".I sat down on the chair in a more comfortable position and began to listen to the irritating noise of Mr Longway's voice. He was teaching the class some equations that I had learnt in my previous school which ment I could sit back and enjoy staring at Harry's beautiful dark brown eyes.

Math class flew. I walked with Harry to my next lesson which was Geography. I didn't mind Geography actually and with Harry in the class I enjoyed it even more.

It was break now and we had half an hour so I decided make some friends. I said goodbye to Harry and that I'll see him later and went off to break. As I walked into the canteen a girl that was in my class came up to me and kindly said "Hello. You must be Lily. The head instructed me to look after you and so here I am. I'm sorry, me blabbing on, my name is Grace." I smiled at her. She seemed so lovely and bubbly so I decided to hang around with her for the rest of the day. She introduced me to her friends Beth and Meg. They seemed nice enough.

The school day pretty much flew and before I knew it, the last bell rung and it was the time of day where I could finally rest. Grace had asked me to come over hers tonight so I texted my mum letting her know where I was, giving her Grace's address so that she could pick me up later. I began to walk home.
