I quickly sprinted to Harry's house. He didn't live that far away which was good considering we were seeing. I was trying to work out what I would say to him. I didn't really know what his emotions would be like, I mean he would be angry at the situation but I don't know if he would take it out on me or what he would do. As I ran, I passed various houses, little kids playing out in the street with a football or a hoola hoop. I wish I could be a kid again. I loved my dolls and my toys and what have you. I felt like when you were a kid you didn't have to care what people thought of you, you dint have to do your hair nice to make an impression, everyone would look at you and go 'awh how cute is she' and all that. Soon enough I arrived at Harry's. I knocked on the door.
There he was. He was wearing 3 quarter denim shorts and a random t shirt that had some sort of writing on it. He hugged me and I entered his house. The tightness of the hug made me feel like everything went back to normal and everything was okay again, but I knew it wasn't. Why couldn't me and Harry just date and no one have to ruin it, I thought to myself.
"Hey, I missed you babe, I dunno how I have managed without you, I've definitely learnt a few things during this time and it's that I'm a lot stronger than I thought" He breathed slowly continuing his speech. "I really don't know what to do, I love you, I can't help that, I don't want to break up just because someone has taking a photo of us, that shows that as a couple we are weak, what do you think?" And them he turned for me, wanting answers.
"Um, I really don't know, I love you too and I would love to stay together I just don't know whether I can put myself through this" I replies with a sigh to rest my emotion.
"Well it's your decision, you can either be with me or not". He said bluntly.
"That's quite mean, you can't just say our whole relationship is my decision to determine" I stood up whilst saying this so he knew where I stood with the situation.
"Look Lil, I don't know if you've heard, but there's rumours going around of who took the photo" he continued "People are saying it's Jason, you know the one Grace was meant to be hooking up with" he stopped. I couldn't breath. Did Grace tell him to do it? She wouldn't do that, I thought to myself in a panic.
"Grace wouldn't do that, she's been defending me all the way through this". I said sharply.
He followed with "Fine then. Don't believe me. I'm just telling you now so it doesn't hurt you later on". Hurt? I was already hurt! You can't just be happy again! My life was ruined and I knew that I had to speak to Grace! I just prayed that it weren't Jason.
"I don't think I want to do this now. Goodbye Harry" and so I stormed out of his house.
"Wait Lil, no stop!" He was cut off by me.
"No! I'm going to sort this out with or without your help". I replied with anger. I wanted him to know that I was angry with him.
The day couldn't of got much worse. I didn't even want too speak to Grace at that moment. I didn't even want too speak to Harry about it. He didn't realise what I was going through. For some reason, I just couldn't deal with humiliation and I regret it all. I wish it never happened, I thought to myself.
I was walking down past the shops not showing my face to anyone until I got a glimpse of three egotistical girls, they must have been the ones I saw on my first day of school. They walked up to arrogantly making themselves look taller so they looked stronger. The head of the group spoke.
"So, what's this business with Harry then, I mean everyone knows it's Jason who took the photo we just want too know if your still seeing him, I mean it's obvious the relationship won't last when people are butting in right". I didn't know what too say. I mean she was completely and utterly right.
"Uh, well I don't need to explain myself to you so if you don't mind I will be going". I said and barged past them. Suddenly one of the girls muttered under their breath "desperate". I ignored them, tears bulging out if my eyes as I quickly strode off. I hated everyone.
