What a coincidence

Fear And Excitement

I arrived home late around 10pm. I made myself a cup of tea in my favourite Cath Kidston mug and took it up to my bedroom. Once I had finished my tea, I decided to burry myself under the silky sheets which was my duvet and slowly drift off to sleep.

I strode over to the frozen abandoned lake that I saw before me and with that, the figure appeared once more, only he had brought some ice skates. He mumbled to me in a peculiar tone "We must go ice skating now. Curse the land if we do not". Whatever that ment, I decided to put them on and steadily push myself onto the thin crispy layer of frozen water. He followed me on. We gently glided together on the ice watching the sun set and the moon appear. It was glistening and was as bright as a star. Suddenly, he said "I must go now. I shall see you in the real world my friend". I knew he wasn't my friend.

I woke. It was the next day of school. I quickly got changed and rode my vintage style bicycle to school sporting a pair of jeans and a jumper followed by my white vans. School was going to be great, I thought to myself with slight sarcasm.

The school day pretty much flew from then. I had a bunch of lessons, English, Maths(with Mr Longway), French and History. I met up with Harry at lunch to catch up from yesterday as I hadn't seen him. He asked me if I was going to 'The party' tonight. Louisa, one of the girls in school, if was her birthday and so she was hosting a huge party for everyone at school. I said I probably wasn't going to go as I hadn't had an invite. He replied to me "Don't worry Lil. You don't need an invite, it's a house party so come along with Grace and your friends. You'll be fine". I said thank you in a sigh of relief.

I met up with Grace, Meg and Beth at lunch also to discuss Louisa's party. Grace said it started at 7pm so I could go to hers to get ready. I said that would be great and gave my mum a quick text just to let her know:

To Mum,

Going to a friend's house party tonight, Could you please drop my plain black dress over to Grace's along with my makeup and hair stuff. Thanks.

Grace's sister Seren picked us up from school and we headed back to hers. By the time we had got to Grace's my stuff had already been delivered. we went up to Grace's room, put some tunes on, and got ready for the party!

It was 6:30pm now and we were ready. I wore a plain black dress with black sparkly heels and a little cardigan. Grace wore a red sparkly dress with her black wedges and a leather jacket. We both curled our hair. Grace texted Meg to tell her to meet us outside so we could all go in together.

Grace's mum Jill drove us to the party. Meg was stood outside with Beth. We walked up to the girls. They both looked stunning. Grace eagerly said "Let the party begin!!".
