after the first week, yugyeom was a mess. his best friend. his soulmate. the boy he couldn't live without was in a coma. because he didn't even realize something was wrong.
jackson was also a mess. jackson loved bambam. there was so much he would do for him.
their friends were worried about them. jinyoung had yugyeom stay at his apartment because he genuinely did not trust him by himself.
it had been an exact week when yugyeom completely broke down. he was looking at his binder when he saw the thai lettering that spelt out bambam's name. bambam had written it on there claiming, "now you know one thing in thai and it's the only thing you need to know."
luckily it wasn't at school but on jinyoung's bed after school because he broke into tears the moment he read it.
jinyoung couldn't do anything but hold him and tell him bambam would be okay.
jackson broke at exactly a week and one day. he was in the hospital parking lot in the passenger seat of jaebum's car after they had just seen bambam.
his break down consisted of yelling and crying about how he could of done more for bambam.
"jackson, you didn't do anything wrong. you would die for that boy." jaebum immediately regretted his use of the word die because jackson started crying 10x harder.
"what if he dies?"
"jackson, the doctors said three weeks. it's only been one. bambam will be okay."
"can i stay at your place tonight?" jaebum nodded, looking at his friend as tears streamed down his face.
jackson "slept" on jaebum's couch. not that he slept much. it truly hit him that night.
how could he not notice whatever was going on to bring bambam to try to kill himself? how could bambam be going through something so severe but he didn't even realize.
jaebum woke up in the middle of the night to get a drink of water. jackson pretended he was asleep like he was a middle school boy again so jaebun didn't reprimand him for being awake.
