jackson couldn't stay in one spot. and his friends couldn't calm him down. so they didn't. they let him pace around the living room.
"bambam will be home in like 20 minutes. you guys should leave," jackson told them. he wanted it to be an intimate moment without their friends there.
they all gave him a hug before leaving. mark pat jackson's shoulder as he left and shut the door behind him.
jackson finally sat on the couch and tired to calm himself down. his foot was tapping on the floor and his fingers were pulling at a string on his shirt.
bambam walked into their apartment, smiling at jackson as he took his shoes off.
"how was work?" jackson asked. bambam sat down next to him and laid his head on jackson's arm.
"really good."
jackson slowly stood up, letting bambam move his head. he knealed on one knew in front of bambam and grabbed his hands.
"bambam, i love you so much and i want to be with you forever. even though we can't legally get married, we can have a wedding. so will you please marry me, bambam?" jackson grabbed the ring from his pocket without looking away from bambam.
bambam pulled his hands away from jackson's before tackling him, both of them ending up on the ground. he pressed his lips to jackson's as tears started to fall.
"so is that a yes?" jackson asked once bambam pulled away.
"yes." bambam's nodding was exaggerated. in that moment while jackson laid on the floor with bambam on top of him, he realized how much he truly loved bambam. he had a lot of those moments.
the look on his face was pure love. he grabbed bambam's hand and slipped the ring on before bringing it to his mouth and kissing the back of bambam's hand.
"i love you so much, so so much," bambam choked out. he didn't want to cry even though they were happy tears.
"you're so beautiful. i love you." jackson squeezed bambam tighter than bambam was hugging him. "i want to be with you forever. even if the law doesn't say we're married, i want to say we're married. we don't even have to have a wedding. or we can have something small with our friends. we can go to thailand. i don't care. we can do anything."
bambam sat up so jackson could do the same before be started kissing him again. jackson separated for just a second so he could stand and pick bambam up. he carried him to their bedroom and laid him on the bed so delicately it was like he thought bambam would break.
they took their time. it was slow and gentle. the only thing jackson needed in that moment was the sound of bambam saying his name in pleasure.
then they took a bath that jackson filled with bubbles. after the bath he left bambam in their room for a little bit to get everything else ready.
bambam sat on the bed in his pajamas, waiting for jackson to come get him. he couldn't wipe the smile off his face as he looked at the ring on his finger.
"bammie," jackson sang as he opened the bedroom door. he grabbed bambam hand and had him follow him to the living room.
in the living room was a pillow fort. jackson knew bambam loved forts but always got frustrated when trying to build them, so he built it for him. inside was bambam's laptop with the simpson's movie, bambam's favorite movie, already ready to watch. and on the table that was moved out of the way was a bunch of thai food and snacks.
they sat in the fort. bambam fed jackson his favorite foods.
"bam, that looks hot," jackson whined as he watched bambam pick up more food for him to try.
"it's not that bad. i promise. just try it, please." jackson reluctantly opened his mouth and regretted it in a moment.
"do you eat anything that's not spicy?"
"you ordered it, nerd," bambam giggled as he took a bite himself, having a nearly opposite reaction. "okay, this isn't spicy."
bambam picked up a dish he was sure jackson would like and fed him a bite.
"okay. that's good. everything else is for you. i love you." jackson took the container from bambam making bambam pout.
"i should at least get a bite," bambam whined cutely. jackson smiled and gave bambam one bite before taking some himself.
they finished eating and started the movie. around the laptop were bags of different snacks so they could grab them at anytime.
jackson didn't let go of bambam's hands the entire movie. it was difficult to open snacks bit neither minded when the cause of the issue was that they were holding hands.
"i am so in love with you i can't even understand how it's possible," jackson told bambam as they laid on the blanket on the floor, facing each other. "sometimes i feel like you're not real because i don't know how someone as amazing as you exists."
bambam always felt bad. jackson said such sweet things to him but he never knew what to say. so he decided to say that.
"i love you. i love you so much that i don't even know how to put it into words most of the time. i wish i could so i could tell you how much i love and appreciate you. you always say really sweet things and i wish i could, too. but i'm not sure how to."
"you don't need to worry about that, baby. i know you love me."
