CHAPTER 8: REUNITING

Chloe's P.O.V:

I woke up the next morning with someone jumping on me.

"Waky wakyy! Rise and shine sleepy head!" I groaned.

"Ugh. What time is it?"

"It's 11:32 right now."

"What? then why did you wake me up? we slept at 3 in the morning!"

"Because. Now get up the easy way, or it's not gonna be pretty." She joked.

"Alright! I'm up. Don't kill me!"

I lazily got out of bed and went to the bathroom to wash my face.

"Do you need all that time in there?" Sarah was pounding on the bathroom door. Apparently to wake me up.

"I just got here. Take it easy!"

"Meet me down stairs for breakfast."

As soon as I was done, I opened the bathroom door and the scent of bacon and eggs, waffles, and pancakes filled my nostrils.

"That smells so good!" I exclaimed as soon as I got into the kitchen.

"Good morning Ms. Stonewell. Thank you for letting me stay here."

"Good morning sweetheart. You're more than welcome to sleep over anytime you want. Now come on, eat your breakfast while it's still warm. I'm gonna go to work now. You girls have fun. Bye!"

"Bye!" we shouted back. I love Mary. She's so nice and friendly. I consider her as my mom. She cares for me and helps me in times of need, especially when my dad didn't care much.

Sarah and I ate our breakfast while talking and laughing. We put our dirty dishes away and went upstairs to change our clothes.

"What are you gonna wear?" Sarah always asked about clothes. She loves fashion, and of corse I do too, but she's more obsessed with it.

" I actually got something with me. I got a sporty-chic orange dress the goes to just above my knees with my white converse."

"That's cool. I guess I'm gonna wear my jean shorts and a bright pink crop top and my pink converse, kinda like your outfit yesterday."

"Ohh, cool." I commented on her wardrobe.

We changed and started thinking of what to do today.

"How about we go to the old Egyptian museum?" she suggested.

"Yeah and learn more stuff? Let's leave learning for school, kay?" She laughed at my statement.

The room was quite for a moment, both of us busy thinking about something to do. The silence was broken by my phone ringing. "It's Jake" I said before answering.

C: Hey Jake!

J: Hi Chloe! How's it going? How's your summer?

C: It's great! And yours?

J: Same. Listen, I've been calling to see if you and Sarah would like to go to the movies today's noon. So what do you think?

I asked Sarah and we thought about it.

C: Yeah sure! That's a great idea! It's good to reunite with our best friend. See you later. Bye!

J: Bye.

( End of phone convo. Obviously :p )

"So, look's like plans made their way to us." Sarah said after I hung up. "Yeah. It's been a long time since we've seen Jake. I feel bad."
