The past week's been making me really nervous. All Ross's fans have been blowing Twitter up with mentions about this mysterious girlfriend they keep trying to find out about. I was having a hard time coping with it, and Ross helped by trying to make me calmer and make me forget, but every time we do something together and every time we go out, we spend our time hiding together. This was not something I'm used to, but I love Ross so much to even care about what comes along with being the rockstars' girlfriend.

I was now sitting with the band, listening to them finalizing their album that's coming out this spring. They sound really good. I have a great feeling that things will be looking up for them after the release. But I'm also worried. Worried that they would go on tour and me not be able to go with them. That depends on whether it's in spring or summer, and whether my dad would find out or not.

I was snapped out of my thoughts by the last strum of Rocky's guitar and Ellington's last drum beat. "That was great guys! Your album is gonna sound great!"

"You really think so? We were a bit worried that the R5 Family won't like our growing music." Ross said.

"Constant evolution is necessary. You said that once Ross, don't forget that."

"She's right." Riker butted in, resting his elbow on my shoulder. "How can we get better and grow if we don't try something new, right?"

"Yeah" everyone agreed.

We all turned around to the stairs when we heard someone coming down. "Come on guys, dinner's ready." Stormie said, then went back upstairs, the rest following her lead. Ross and I trailed behind.

"You okay?" He asked, holding my hand and brushing his thumb against it.

"Yeah I guess so. I'm just...I'm just really nervous. I'm worried my dad would find out about us, and I really don't want to end things between us."

"Trust me, it's all gonna be okay."

"But what if it doesn't? What if he finds out? Then what will happen? Why can't he just accept that?" I was saying that and my voice started to crack and tears were forming in my eyes. Ross pulled me close to him and held me tight.

"Is everything alright?" Mark appeared from the doorway. "Dinner was getting cold so we wanted to see where you guys are. What's wrong?"

I was still holding on to Ross who had his arms wrapped around me protectively. Mark sat us both down on the couch and put a serious look on his face.

"If it's about that same reason, then let me tell you something. We all love you here Chloe. You've been a part of our family for almost a year now and we all care for you so much. You're a special person to all of us, and to me, you are like my own daughter, like Rydel."

At that point, I smiled a bit to myself. "And as you know, I am too a father, so I might understand your fathers' stance. You are his only child, and you're a girl, he feels like he has to protect you and care for you more."

"Well he doesn't show that... Barely." "Every person has his own way of expressing things, and what your father is going through is different from what other dads are going through. Your dad might fear loosing his one and only girl to some guy that might not treat her right or break her heart. He wouldn't want you to in an emotional wreck if something happens, and maybe if you're dating a rockstar, it worries him more."

He was right. Everything he said. But, at the same time, I know that my dad doesn't like Ross and keeps trying to ruin his career. Yet again, he's got a point on that celebrity-dating thing. Ugh I don't know, I'm confused.

"Why don't you tell your dad abo-" "What? No way! I can't do that! He'll-"

"Well it's better than him finding out on his own, in the wrong way." I didn't say anything. Once again, he had a point. But no matter what, the outcome will be the same. He ground me for life and take away anything that would keep me in touch with Ross.
