CHAPTER 18: ITS OVER ALREADY?

Chloe's P.O.V:

I woke up this morning feeling a bit depressed, maybe because school was less than one week away. I looked to Sarah sleeping next to me and she seemed like she's going to wake up anytime soon. I got out of bed and looked through the window and saw the bright sun shinning onto the world. Why should this be a bad week?

"Good morning!" Sarah said, grabbing my attention and turning towards her.

"Good morning" I replied mournfully, and looked back through the window. "Summer went by so fast."

"I said good morning, so let's keep it a good morning. You didn't have to remind me now!" Sarah nagged as she got out of bed.

"I'm sorry. I didn't want things to be that way, cuz it was such a great summer."

"Yeah, probably the best. Who am I kidding! It is the best summer ever: we met R5 and we started dating Ross and Rocky."

"Yeah I know. I'm hungry."

"You keep thinking about food."

"Well, I'm sorry, I love food more than you and now you're just jealous."

"Am not!"

"Yess you are. Now come on!! Pancakes! Waffles! French toast! Anything! But let's eat and then we can talk about whatever!"

"Fine, we'll have it your way."

"Thank you."

"You know, you're actually right. Food is the best."

"It's good that you know that now."

We both giggled a bit and went to the bathroom by turn. When we were done we went down stairs.

As soon I we went into the kitchen I got a text from Ross.

From Ross<3:

Your dad's not home right?

To Ross<3:

Right. Why?

And by that, the door bell rang. I went to answer it and was surprised to find 3 blondes and 3 brunets.

I kept starring, surprised but happy, outside to where they were standing, as they walked past me one by one into the house.

"We brought pancakes, waffles, and French toast! They just need to be baked." Rocky said.

"Oh my. It's like you're reading my mind."

I hugged Ross and sat next to him on the island. "Are you doing anything today?"

"Ugh. Don't remind me."

"Why? What's wrong?"

"We gotta go school shopping."

"School? Summer is over already?"

"Yeah. I'm sorry."

"But how are we supposed to spend time together?"

"I guess it will be after school and on weekends. It's okay."

"No it's not. I'll miss you throughout the day. "

"I'll miss you even more."

"So what do you have to do?"

"The yearly Back to School' shopping, books, notebooks, pens, maybe a new backpack, and a car"

"A what?"

"A car. I'm saving to get one. I still don't have one."

"Until then, I can drive you anywhere you want"
