Chloe's P.O.V:
I looked up from the doodles I drew on my science textbook to the wall clock in the classroom. It was almost 4 pm. I huffed and dropped my pencil on my desk. I held my head in both my hands and fake screamed, loud enough for only me to hear.
I'm not mad I got detention, no. In fact, I'm glad I did something that got me into trouble. I like being 'bad', but i couldn't just get them real me to show in school. I was mad because time was passing slowly, and it's really boring.

"Guess who got me in detention?" I asked, slightly hitting Ross with my backpack.
He faked getting hurt. "Ouch! Wait, what? I'm so sorry!"
"Don't be. I'm kinda glad that happened."
"Wow. Unleash the bad girl within. I never knew you were like this."
"Looks like there are a lot of things you don't know about me. For starters, everyone thinks that I'm a goodie goodie, but I'm only like that in school, though I don't know why."
"Uhu, interesting."
"And I like bad boys."
"Oh! Like me!"
"Yeah, maybe. I guess."
We were both sitting at the island in Ross's kitchen, when Rydel came.
"Oh you're here! What happened this morning?"
"Meh, not much. It's the first time I ever drink, so I think I might have drank too much and overslept."
"Oh cool. Stay here for dinner?"
"I wish, but I gotta do my homework, and it's gonna take long cuz I find it really hard."
Ross then looked at me. "Babe, you can stay here and I'll help you if you want."
"Really? You'd help me?"
"Of corse, why wouldn't I?"
"Okay then. But just to warn you, you already know I'm dyslexic.." I said the last part in a kind of whisper, just to make sure no one hears. "And it will be hard for you to help me. I've tried it with Sarah, Jake, Josh and Rosa and they all suffered a lot."
"Nah, don't worry. I think I can help you. I'm a pro."
I chuckled, slightly pushing on his chest. "Okay. I appreciate it. Really. "
"Babe! You're most welcome."
"I hear whispering!" Rydel said from across the kitchen. She had already started to make dinner.
"Umm..need any help?" I suggested.
"No it's okay. You go do your homework, Ross can help me."
"No, I'm with Chloe, I'm gonna do her homework with her."
"Oh yay! You're staying! Okay, then go and I'll call you when dinner is ready."

It was getting late, and we were about to finish, except for that math homework that was holding me back.
"I don't know!" I say in frustration, pulling both my hands through my hair. "I just don't know, it's hard. I don't get it."
"Let me explain this again. For this equation, you should find the roots, which means you should find numbers in which when you substitute them with 'x' you get a zero."
"Why should it be a zero? Can it be any number? It like, get the same number as the number we chose?"
"No, that's not what a root is."
"How am I supposed to know that this number makes it zero?"
"You should try using trial and error."
"But how am I supposed to know which number is a root? There's too many."
I was starting to get more and more nervous about this. Math is my most hated subject, and I keep getting bad grades. It's just too hard and too complicated.
"Ugh, whatever. Can we stop for today?"
"Of corse babe."
"Thanks a lot for helping me today."
"There's no need to thank me, I'll be here for anything you need. Now come on, let's go down to have dinner and forget about math."
"Yeah, that's better." I giggled as Ross put his arm over my shoulder and went downstairs to the kitchen to meet Rydel, and the others who were slowing joining us.
"I'm sorry I made you postpone dinner. I was having a little trouble."
"No worries. Anyways I didn't finish until a little while ago, and we weren't that hungry before."
"Come on kids, dinner's ready!" Stormie called to whoever hasn't come to the kitchen yet.
We sat around their big dinner table that was full of different types of delicious looking food.
"Wow Rydel! You did all this? This is amazing!"
"Thanks! Hope I get a good feedback!"
"Oh you will." Rocky answered her. "She great!"
"Haha yeah I can see that!"
"Quit your talking and lets eat already!" Ryland said, grabbing everyone's attention. We all laughed and agreed with him and just at out food, making small talk and jokes.

"Thanks again....for everything." I told Ross while he was walking with me, hand in hand, to my car.
He stopped and kissed my temple. "Babe, I already told you. You don't need to thank me."
"Yeah, but I want to. And I probably caused you a lot of trouble."
"Stop worrying about me. And no, you were no trouble. Change the subject. How's your dad?"
"He's fine, probably not noticing that I'm not around. But I still have to go now. I'll see you later, okay?"
"Okay. Bye babe." He kissed my forehead and then watched me as I drove off.

I was now in my bed, nuzzled up into the warm covers, getting ready to sleep. I had my laptop on my legs, searching for some information for next weeks' project. Sarah and I are working together, and we wanted to do something interesting and unusual. While I was searching for topics, I found a magazine headline saying: 'Ross Lynch's New Girlfriend'.
I got nervous at first, but I clicked the link and went to the website. It sent me to TMZ, which I knew it was my dad's job. Luckily, the picture was of me and Ross holding hands, walking into the Austin and Ally studio the other week.
I exhaled in comfort when I saw that i wasn't clearly seen in the picture. I directly emailed the link to Sarah and shut my computer. I turned out the lights and went to sleep, trying to forget about the news and not make a big deal out of it. But it kept haunting me every time I closed my eyes: what will happen if my dad finds out.
