Chloe's P.O.V:
"Ugh! I don't know what to wear!" I groaned. "How am I supposed to find something casual yet fancy?"
"Hey, calm down. Don't worry, we'll find something." Sarah tried to make me calm down. She was helping me get ready for my date tonight.
"And hey..." she trailed off. " You wouldn't be so nervous if you didn't fancy him, right?" she looked at me, smiling slyly, trying to get the words out of my mouth.
"Whaaaaaat? Pfff.. What are you talking about? I don't like him. It's just two friends, going out on a date together. Is there a problem with that?" I tried to deny it but I don't think it will work.
"Oh don't try to fool me! I know you like him. At least a little now. You will completely fall for him after today, I know you."
"Can we just search for something I can wear?" I tried to change the subject, but she brought it back up.
"Not until you admit it."
"Admit what?"
"Admit that you like Ross."
I was silent for a few seconds, debating whether I should tell her or no. She's my best friend, she should know if I do.
"Alright! Fine! I have a crush on Ross Lynch! Happy now?"
" Very!" she squealed.
"Okay now, HELP ME FIND AN APPROPRIATE OUTFIT!!"
We both went into my closet and turned it upside down to find something good to wear.
"Okay" Sarah said "These pants go as casual, and this shirt goes as fancy."
"Wow! Thanks! They look so awesome together."
I put my clothes on quickly then glanced at my mirror. I was wearing grayish-blackish skinny jeans with a bright green silk v-neck top with a green ballerina that has a bow.
"You know, this bright green color really makes your darker green eyes stand out. Let me help you with some makeup and accessories."
I sat down at my dresser and looked at the makeup in front of me. I glanced at Sarah standing behind me through the mirror and thought for a second.
"Please, I know you like to put a lot of make up, but I don't like that. Don't over do it. Some eyeliner, mascara and lipgloss would be enough."
"What??" She exclaimed, disappointment showing in her tone.
"Not even blush, foundation and eyeshadow?" she looked at me pouting, giving me her 'unconvincing' puppy dog eyes.
"I really hate those stuff, so do as I tell you. And don't go heavy on mascara and eyeliner. Oh, and I want light pink lipgloss, not red or hot pink."
She kept starting at me, hoping that I would give in and let her do what she wants, but no. She can't play me with this look. She sighed, "ugh fine whatever." After a few minutes, she was done and decided on another thing.
"Chloe, since it's a bit early right now, how about I paint your nails?"
"What time is it?"
"it's six."
"Okay, but something that goes with the color of my top."
"Hmmm.." she thought. "Black or gold?"
" What? None! How about a French manicure?"
"Hey that's not bad!"
After painting all my nails and waiting for them to dry, it was 7, almost time for my date. Sarah rushed at got me some accessories to wear, like a necklace, a ring, and bracelets, all in green, black and gold. But they looked great.
