CHAPTER 16: BIRTHDAY PARTY

Chloe's P.O.V:

I woke up late the next day at 11:36. I lazily got out of bed and went into the bathroom. I washed my face and brushed my teeth. When I got out, I went downstairs to make myself some breakfast.

I decided on having cereal so I got a bowl from the cupboard and opened the fridge to get some milk. I found a big piece of cake that might have been for my dad from last night. Of course I'm gonna eat that when I'm done. I sat down alone on the island and had my breakfast.

When I was done, I put my bowl in the dishwasher and got the piece of cake. I was eating it when my phone rang upstairs from my room. "Really? I forgot it up there?"

I rushed back into my room and saw Sarah calling.

"Hello?"

"Hey Chloe! Glad you're up!"

"Hi. Why? Is there something wrong?"

"Oh relax. You always think that there's something wrong. Okay so listen. You know Jessica, right?"

"Jessica? From French class? The one you introduced me to? Yeah I know her, why?"

"It's her birthday today and she's having a party. Actually her best friends are planning a surprise party for her and they're inviting everyone she knows, so we're invited. The party starts at 7."

"Cool! What's the theme?"

"I don't know. Maybe it's a pool party. "

"Well if it's a pool party I have to know earlier. You know, just to prepare myself. Count me in anyways."

"How about we tell R5 to come with us too? What do you think?"

"That'd be cool. I'll tell them and you find out what kind of party it is and tell me. Is there gonna be cake?"

"That's a stupid question. Of course there's gonna be cake. Why are you asking?"

"Cuz I was eating a piece of cake. And it looks like I'm gonna leave it. Okay so talk to me when you find out. I gotta go now. Ba-bye!"

"You're so stupid. Bye! "

Yay! Party! But I don't know what to wear!

I put the cake back in the fridge and went into the living room. I propped down on the couch and turned the tv on. I found Austin and Ally playing on Disney so I kept it. It actually reminded me that I had to call Ross.

"Hey babe."

"Hii! How are you?"

"I'm good and you?"

"Great. Umm listen, are you guys doing anything today? I mean like, are you guys free?"

"Yeah sure. Is everything okay?"

"Yeah yeah, don't worry. But don't you have band practice or anything?"

"Umm yeah, at like 3 pm. We finish at 5. Why? You're making me nervous with all these questions."

"Haha no don't worry. It's just that there's this party for a friend of ours and I wanted to see if you guys wanna come to--if you're okay with it or if you're not busy."

"No it's not a problem. I would actually be fun! What time?"

"Party starts at 7. I was thinking we go at like 8?"

"Great. I'll pick you up?"

"Umm..."

"Hello?"

"Yes? Huh? No, it's okay. Sarah and I will come to your house."

"Are you sure about that?"

"I'm positive."
