CHAPTER 13: HANGING OUT

Chloe's P.O.V:

I woke up the next morning remembering what happened last night, smiling widely. I have a boyfriend! I was happy. Oh who am I kidding?! I was more than happy! I was over the top! I jumped out of bed and went to my bathroom. I did my business, brushed my teeth and washed my face.

After going back into my room, the smell of French toast filled my nostrils. Dad must be still here. I rushed downstairs and into the kitchen, only to see Sarah preparing breakfast. "Oh, it's you." I said disappointedly and sighed.

"Nice to see you too. I came by like ten minutes ago and saw your dad leaving. He told me you should be waking up soon, so I made you breakfast. So, you're welcome." She explained.

"Yeah, sorry, thanks."

"Wow, you must be upset for someone who had a date late night. DATE!! I forgot! How was it? Tell me!"

I chucked, "let's just say that your best friend has a boyfriend."

"Eeeeeeeeeeep!!! Are you kidding me?!" she squealed.

"Does it look like I'm kidding?"

"No..anyway, what happened? Where did he take you? Was it romantic?"

"Yeah it was really nice and romantic. So cute for a first date. He took me to the park for an 'under the moonlight and stars picnic'. He was really sweet and kinda nervous. He didn't know what to say. He might have been over thinking things. But yeah, now we're together."

"That's so nice! What did you guys eat?"

"Food"

"No kidding? Now seriously."

"Haha, alright. We ate some salad and then sandwiches and then asked me to be his girlfriend, so the tension disappeared. Then, we ate chocolate covered strawberries and fed me one while having one of his hands around me. And when we got here, he kissed my cheek and I blushed! But he noticed."

"Doesn't matter! As long as you're happy now. See, I told you you'll fall for him after the date, not that you didn't like him anyways but yeah I told you!"

"Yeah Sarah, I've been wanting to ask you but the date distracted me. What's going on between you and Rocky? He got your number the other day."

"Well, we've been talking, and he seems like he's a really nice guy, and I started having feelings for him. I just hope he does too."

Our conversation was interrupted by both of our phones beeping. I looked at my phone and saw a text from Ross.

"It's Ross."

"Aww! What does it say?"

"He said 'good morning beautiful' "

To Ross:

Hey handsome :p

From Ross:

Wanna have lunch today? It's gonna be a double date. Rocky wants Sarah to be his girlfriend. But don't tell her I told you.

To Ross:

Sound great! Don't worry about it, my lips are sealed. See you later xo

"Rocky texted me too! He wants us to hang out today and have lunch!"

"Really? I did not know that."

"It looks like you know something."

"No I don't, just finish your breakfast."

We continued eating our breakfast talking and laughing. "How about I help you with getting ready today? To thank you for yesterday?"

"Sure, why not. But it's still early, we just finished breakfast."
