Y/n sat with a stone cold bitch face on in her meeting held by Emilia to explain the drug shipments coming in along with more extortion. Y/n wasn't really listening, she had her mind in other places. Her father was starting to treat her like a child again and she hated it. She was snapped out her thoughts when Emilia had literally snapped.

"The Fords are already giving us the amount of money we asked for, but we should up the prices on them." Emilia said. She turned to Y/n at the head of the table. Everyone was looking at their boss who looked lost in space. They knew something was wrong because she was never like that during a meeting. "Alright, let's conclude this meeting later, you are dismissed." Emilia sighed running her fingers through her hair. As soon as the meant and women had cleared the room Emilia sat down on the table.

Y/n huffed throwing her hand in her hair. "Fuck everything Lia!" She screamed. "My father gave me the title of Mob boss and then all of a sudden he brings in this new guy, who likes to boss people around. What the fuck?" She stood up and slammed her chair against the wall. "Who the fuck made him the boss of me?"

Emilia shrugged. Y/n needed to blow off some steam and usually she took it out on other people. "Maybe you need to just talk to the Travis guy and see what's up."

"Fuck that!" She yelled. "I'm not about to let no bitch ass tell me what to do!" She was getting angrier by the minute and it wasn't gonna end well. She was caught off guard by the door opening and shutting and her father, with Travis and other men coming in. "Dad? What are you doing here?" She cooled herself down.

Y/f/n had a look of amusement on his face. "I thought it was a good moment to introduce you into the idea of Travis." He patted Travis on his back. "My dearest daughter, please sit down." He ordered.

Y/n hesitated before she sat down in her chair and the end of the table, Emilia sat next to her. "What idea of Travis?" Her eyes narrowed at her father. She couldn't tell what was happening in the moment, but she had a feeling she wouldn't like it.

"You two are to be engaged to marry." Her father said blatantly. He had no emotion showing as the words left his lips.

Y/n felt everything inside her building up. "No!" She yelled. "I refuse it! You can not make me!" Her gun was pulled from under the table and they were having a standoff. "I'll just shoot him here then." She clocked her gun. Her finger was seconds away from pulling the trigger.

Her father raised his hands up. "I know Y/n, I know, I wouldn't have made the deal if I had known what you would have grown up to be, but I did and I suggest you read the contract before making any rash decisions." The other men moved to lay a thick white booklet on the table. "Please read the first line on page 16."

Y/n glared picking up the booklet, her heart sunk when she read the words. "You're gonna take the business away from me if he fucking dies?" She asked with annoyance. "What made you do this?!" Y/n yelled at her father. "What the fuck did you possible have to gain from signing this fucking contract!?"

"Everything." He said. "Y/n sweetheart, you don't even understand the sacrifices I had to make to get to this point." He sighed. "I was hoping you'd get along with Travis before I had to tell you but, Travis was very vocal about wanting you to know."

Everything in Y/n's mind was spinning and she felt trapped. She glanced down at Emilia who was still putting things together while reading the contract. "You practically sold me like I'm some kind of sex slave. Do I really mean that little to you?" She asked, her eyes had narrowed. "How could you possible think that I would agree to this!"

"I did it when you were a child Y/n!" He yelled. "And what I say now stands!" His voice was booming in the room. When he yelled usually Y/n shut up. She was scared of her own father, because even though she is powerful, fear is still one of her weaknesses. "You are to marry Travis and that's it!"

Y/n swallowed, wanting to cry, but she didn't cry in front of people. She was defeated at this point, the only thing she could possibly do was surrender. "Okay." She said. She had given up quicker than what her father had expected, but she couldn't do very much.

Y/f/n gave her a small smile, walking over to her. "I'm so proud of you." He held her shoulders and she flinched. "I really am, you have grown into a very strong woman." He sighed looking to the ground. "Travis you can have the room now." He said. Him and his men left the room and the only people in the room were Y/n, Travis, and Emilia.

"You and your father sicken me." Y/n hissed. "I am a human being! Not your fucking toy!" She sat down in her main chair. Emilia was still reading through.

Travis smirked running his hand over the soft wood of the conference table. "You're a mouthy bitch I tell you that." He let out a soft chuckle. "Didn't know you'd turn out like this."

Y/n's jaw clenched, her eyes were narrowing and she wanted nothing more, but to kill him. "Don't tempt me, I might lose everything if I kill you, but I can hurt you in more ways than one." Y/n had stood up. She attempted to walk out the room, but she was stopped by Travis. "Don't you fucking touch me. Unless you don't want your hand anymore." In seconds a blade was facing his neck.

"Y/n, you should really read this." Emilia had stood next to Y/n, ignoring Travis's rude stares at her ass. "For an engaged man you seem pretty open to looking at people's ass." She had given Y/n the booklet.

His smirk had disappeared, but then a more sinister one had taken it's place when he looked over at where Y/n was reading. "I see you found the little detail my father slipped in." He was amused at the whole thing. Finally getting what he was promised as a little boy.

She scanned the text and saw rules. "If I reject you in public it may result in a beating?" Y/n read out loud. Her dignity, her independence, her life, was all being stripped away from her on a random Wednesday. "Okay." she agreed.

"Okay?" Emilia erupted. "This isn't you Y/n! You're giving up like this!" She hissed. "You are not weak, but you are acting pathetic."

"Enough!" She demanded. "I am making a decision that was already made for me! I have no other way out of this so I'll have to deal." Y/n looked to Travis who still had his amused smile on his face.

He clicked his tongue. "I like the colors black and blue, we should get started on the wedding my love." He pecked her forehead before walking out the room.

Her undying urge to kill him had came back stronger and she had to force herself not to walk out and shoot him to death. Everything was aching inside, but she didn't know what to call it. My love  such a intimate nickname that she wanted to save for the love of her life. Tears threatened to fall down her face as she backed into the wall, slowly she slid down it. "So that's it?" Emilia questioned. "You just submit yourself to a man like that?"

"I am no ones guaranteed wife and I am more than a contract. My father thinks he has me defeated, but this is just the start of a greater war between all of us." Y/n hit her head against the off-white walls. "Just another war." She repeated.
