Jennie's P.O.V.

"Uhhh...I'm not sure. Is she that girl with the rap in the Ddu Du Ddu Du song?" I answered, trying to keep calm.

"Yes, that's her. Do you like her?"

"I haven't really listened to her band that much", I said, trying to seem honest. "But...I guess she's pretty talented." Then I said something I was hoping I was gonna have enough common sense not to say, but it was just tempting me.

"Do you?"

"Well, she's clearly a very skilled rapper. She reminds me of Yoongi hyung", and he laughed here.

What the fuck is so funny, Kim Taehyung?

"And she also buys a lot of Gucci. Here she reminds me of myself", and he laughed again.

Damn, the charm in his laugh.

"Really? So there's another human Gucci on planet Earth?" I said and giggled, trying to slide into his little laughing game.

"Eh, not really. She isn't as Gucci as me, obviously. She's just like...a copy. Like fake Gucci. She's also very arrogant", he said, without laughing this time.

WHY THE FUCK ARE YOU NOT LAUGHING, KIM TAEHYUNG?!

"Excuse me, what?!" I burst without thinking. "That is so disrespectful of you! Pfft, BTS really are the self-centered people that everyone says they are."

He looked at me, so astonished by what I've just said.

JENNIE, WHY CAN'T YOU CONTROL YOUR DAMN SELF?!

"Uhh, miss, are you alright?" he asked, widening his eyes a bit more every syllable he said.

"I'm sorry, Tae", I said, trying to sound like a fan again. "I just don't like it when idols don't get along. I don't want Korea to have the same celebrity wars and dramas like America does."

His facial expression seemed to loosen up a bit, which meant his shock was gone.

"You know, you seem like a very kind person", he said, and smiled widely. "I was wondering...do you wanna go out tomorrow? You don't have to consider it a date if you don't want to. I just...really like you."

WHAT?!

How does he really like me if he supposedly just met me?!

I felt like I was suffocating, and every crumb of energy I had in order to answer to that question had just vanished away. I obviously had to say no to him. But instead...

"Sure. Here's my number. Call me", and I left.
