Jennie's P.O.V.
As I opened the door, there stood a panicked Taehyung, ready to knock on my door again.
"Jennie, thank God you are okay!" he said, and hugged me tight.
I was really shocked that moment, but rather than shocked, my heart started beating like crazy.
"I'm okay?" I asked as we pulled away slowly. "What is that supposed to mean? Did you think anything happened?"
"Well, in a way, yes. Lisa texted me and said you were having a mental breakdown."
I tried hard not to laugh, but I did.
"Well damn, Lisa really is overdramatic sometimes", I said. "I was just...you know..."
"Crying?"
"Yeah."
"I can see. Your face is all red."
I tried not to hide my face hearing his remark, but I still looked away awkwardly. I really did not know how to act cool in front of him most of the time.
"Look, Jennie. I know we've never been the best of friends, but we can restart, now that we'll live together. We won't like it at the beginning, but I'm sure it's gonna be alright. Let's just do it for Jisoo noona and Jin hyung. Please, Jennie."
The way he said my name gave me chills all over my body. His voice was so deep and warm, and hearing it say "Jennie" gave my soul a weird, yet pleasing feeling.
"Yeah. I...promise...I will do my best."
I obviously couldn't keep my promise, but anything for Jisoo unnie, right?
"No hard feelings, okay?" he asked, and smiled.
"O-Okay", I stuttered.
But I have feelings for you, asshole, I thought, and tried really hard not to cry again.
"You can go now that you know I'm fine", I said, and smiled looking down. I touched the door and was ready to close it, but he stopped me.
"Jennie, wait. I have one more thing."
"Yeah?"
"I...know you used to have a crush on me."
Used to?...
"Ehh, well that was a long time ago", I said, uncomfortably. "Forget it now."
"Okay, good. Cause..."
"Cause?"
"Cause I have a girlfriend."
