Part 14

Jennie's P.O.V.

As I took my headphones off, I heard the front door open.

"I'm so happy for you guys!" Rosé squeaked.

"Yeah, me too! Congratulations!" Lisa followed.

"Ahh, it's no big deal", Jisoo unnie answered promptly, but not meanly. 

Yup, as I was thinking, they had a sleepover at Bangtan's and just came back.

"I can't wait to tell Jennie", Jisoo said slowly, but I still heard. "I'm a bit nervous though. What if she won't like it?"

"Well it's a certain thing she'll refuse the offer at first", Lisa admitted. "But she'll be happy for you, just like we are." 

"Hmm. Maybe you're right", Jisoo unnie responded, and sighed. 

What?! Tell Jennie what?! What won't she like?! I have to go easy on Jisoo so she can tell me faster. I'm dying of curiosity right now!

"It's hard being the only single member, so I kind of understand her", Rosé broke the little moment of silence going on. "But she'll like it. New house, new life. Maybe she'll find new friends amongst our neighbors. You know we'll live right across from Red Velvet? That's gonna be so cool."

"You should tell Jennie today", Lisa said confidently. "Otherwise it's too late."

"Aight", Jisoo approved.

I rushed out of my room, way too curious to wait, no matter if it was a week or 10 minutes.

"I'm awake!" I exclaimed, and all three of them looked at me like I've just escaped from mental health hospital.

I was breathing heavily, since I ran all the way down the stairs from my room to the kitchen. I'm actually surprised that their conversation got to my room, cause the distance is just so big you can barely hear a loud ass fire alarm.

"Oh, good morning, Jennie", Jisoo said, vacantly standing next to the stove. I looked to her right, and saw no flour, eggs or butter, like I saw every morning when she made us pancakes. 

We're going on another diet, like the one we had right before debut, when we had to replace all of our meals with a cup of soy milk? Is that the hard news she wanted to tell me? 

I widened my eyes, causing maximum confusion to the girls. They obviously couldn't tell what I was thinking, so all they could do was stand there and look at me. I mean, let me correct my words - STARE at me. Yup, better now.

Wouldn't make sense, though. If we did, Lisa and Rosé wouldn't have been so happy at the beginning, and they wouldn't have mentioned the house moving part.

"Sit, please", Jisoo woke me up from my thoughts, pointing at the empty seat on the couch next to Rosé and Lisa. She smiled warmly, which for the first ever time didn't make me feel any better. I was really scared, more confused though.

"We have some news", she continued.

Shit's about to happen. Seatbelt on, Jennie.

"So, Jin and I...are married", she said.

JUST THAT?! Oh. My. Actual. God. I got so scared...for nothing.

"Wow, that's great!" I exclaimed, more happy for myself than them two, but still. I got up and prepared to leave, when she stopped me.

"Sit back", she said. "I'm not done."

Oh, fuck. 

I started shivering again, not knowing what was coming up next. 

"We talked to Bang PD-nim and Yang sajang, and they both decided we'll be moving in a house, all 11 of us, Blackpink and Bangtan, since Jin and I are not allowed to move together separately."

"WHAT?!" I shouted in shock, without even giving it a second thought. 

THAT MEANS I'LL HAVE TO LIVE IN THE SAME HOUSE AS TAEHYUNG?! It's gonna be so exhausting to be both Jennie and Sooyoung! How am I even gonna do it?!

I felt heavy tears coming from behind my eyes. As much as I tried, I couldn't keep them in, so I got up and ran to my room as fast as I could, not caring that they were whispering behind me.
