"Don't call me sweetheart." And with that, (Y/N) kicked him in the groin and tried to push him out of the way. He fell to the ground but grabbed her leg before she could move any further, and flipped her over his head and on the ground. Dazed for a moment, (Y/N) picked herself up, and made another run for it. She jumped him, dodging kicks and preventing him for reaching his weapon. She let go of an arm to reach for her weapon and he punched her in the face sending her flying backwards again, she got up quickly and before he could get up she sent him to the ground again. He kicked her, almost sending him off before she had a good angle and pulled out her own weapon aiming it at his face.

"Anyone else wanna take a try?" She asked, scanning the room and landing on Rich's remaining two men. They didnt seem like they wanted to, and took a small almost unnoticeable step back. "Anyone else want to touch my boss?" She leveled a look at Rich Moreno, who didn't seem keen on doing anything either. "Good." She stood up and put her weapon away, moving back towards the end of the room.

Tom was already standing, dusting himself off. He didn't smile as (Y/N) passed him he looked almost concerned but, he cleared his throat. "I trust that another incident like that won't happen, Mr. Moreno?"

Rich looked at the floor. "No sir. No-sir."

"Good then." And the group left the building.

(Y/N) headed out towards the unmarked fan but Tom suddenly pulled her towards him gently. He looked at her and coked his head again, his eyes marked with worry. '"Your eye."

(Y/N) pressed a hand to it, and winced a little blood dripping off, and onto her hand. "Ow." She said quietly, pressing her hand to it again, trying to stop the stinging. "Yeah, he did punch me once."

Tom clicked his tongue and sighed, "You're coming back with me."

"Where?" (Y/N) raised her eyebrow, which made the pain around her eye worse.

"To my home, we are going to take care of that eye."

"Uh, okay." (Y/N) said as Tom lead her to his private car. He nodded to the driver and the two of them took off. It was a long ride, but finally, they made it to Tom's home, it wasn't a house in any way, it was more a compound. A collection of buildings littered a hillside with one, the largest standing in front of all the others, most prominently featured. (Y/N) suspected that this was the one they were going to. She wondered briefly what all the other buildings were for, business or pleasure? Did it hold pools, or training centers for more men?

Tom saw her looking out of the window and smiled. "Big, isn't it?"

"Yeah." She said, eyes still fixed on it, "A lot of buildings. What are they all for?" She turned to him.

He smiled playfully, "A great magician never reveals his secrets"

In return (Y/N) smiled and the car pulled into the driveway of the big house. The two of them stepped out and into the open air before walking to the door and stepping inside. (Y/N) thought the house looked big from the outside but on the inside, it was even bigger. There was a huge foyer that lead into a hallways full of rooms, Tom lead her down the hallway and opened the door to what looked like a living room. He pointed to the couch, "Okay, lay down I'm going to go get some ice, okay?"

"Okay."

--

"I told you there was nothing to be worried about." (Y/N) winced at the sudden pain of the ice on her black eye.

"I'm surprised, honestly, you made it out relatively unscathed." Tom pressed ice pack to her eye again and smiled.

"Well I have a certain set of skills, and I use them properly."

"Are you semi-quoting Liam Neeson to me?"

"Maybe." She smiled.

He looked at her and his eyes sparkled a little. This made (Y/N) smiled a little bit wider, but she quickly tried to hide it. Maybe that was the little thing that had been dragging at her from the morning, maybe he was that thing.

She winced again, as he lowered the ice pack again, moving a little closer to her. "You don't have to do this y'know?" She told him.

"Yeah but it seems like you need it. I mean what would you be doing otherwise?"

"Sitting alone licking my wounds in that very nice apartment you gave me."

"Isn't this better?"

"A little bit."

"A little bit?" He laughed, "Come on, I know that apartment is nice but is it as nice as this-?" He spread his arms around the expanse of the living room, "The answer is no." (Y/N) yawned and winced a little, pressing a hand to her temple. Tom eyed her worriedly and sighed, "Are you sure that it's just the eye, you could have a concussion or something." He pulled a hair out of her face and tucked it behind her ear.

"I'm good." She sighed, "Migraine prone." Which was true, "Getting thrown around didn't help."

"Okay then." He cooed a little, "Do you want some aspirin?"

She nodded, "Yes please."

He left, and what (Y/N) should've done was get up. She should've got up and looked in some of the rooms, or his study or anything. What she should've done was get any and all information that she could report back to the CIA. But she didn't, she laid on the couch and waited quietly for him to come back because he could make her feel better.

This op just got a whole lot more complicated.
