Earlier that week....

-Louie's POV-

Louie trudged up to the front doors of the mansion. Gosh he loved being rich and even more he loved being the only heir of the richest duck in the world, Scrooge McDuck. It was like living the dream. Except when Scrooge made him go to school. Which was everyday, except for this summer. It was the first day of school, and maybe this year would be different. Besides, he had only met Webby and Huey over the summer, so that was a positive. He wouldn't be forced to hang out with Doofus Drake anymore.

Louie was pulled from his thoughts to the sound of Webby coming up behind him with her grandmother, Mrs. Beakley. He looked around for Scrooge, who normally said goodbye to him in the mornings. Mrs. Beakley noticed and said "Scrooge told me to tell you that he couldn't make it down this morning and that he's very sorry. He's meeting with these two people, I don't know who they are or what they're doing here. Anyway have a good day at school Louie." Then she leaned over and kissed Webby on the forehead.

Louie remembered a year ago when he first met the other kid that lived in Scrooge's mansion. Webby's parents mysteriously left her with her grandmother one night. Scrooge of course let her stay in the mansion. She did seem a little strange when he was first introduced to her. She had reached out her hand to shake his and had said in a quiet voice, "Hi I'm Webby."

Louie was interrupted by his thoughts again when Webby nearly tackled him on her way out the door. "Race ya!" She yelled over her shoulder. Louie smiled a little, but since he was in no rush to get to school, he walked to where the bus stop was.

-Huey's POV-

Huey awoke with a start. His alarm hadn't gone off, but luckily he was too excited to be fully asleep that morning. He didn't know what had startled him but he was grateful for it. It was the first day of school and Huey was super excited. He got to hang out with his new friends, Louie and Webby and then later after school he had a junior woodchuck meeting! Plus, there was a new kid coming to school today, his principal had asked Huey to show him around. Maybe he was a woodchuck too! The possibilities were endless.

After getting ready for school, Huey went to the house boat's kitchen. He had planned on making his Uncle Donald some breakfast, but Donald wasn't anywhere to be found. Then he spotted the note. Huey giggled and pretended to read it in Donald's voice.

"Huey-

I have gone to a interview this morning for a new job. Please be ready for school in time. I will see you when you get home from school. Maybe you could invite that new kid over, I met his mother earlier this week and it sounds like you two would get along"

Huey? Late to school? Never! Huey chuckled at the thought. And he was given permission to have a friend over after school! Maybe he could invite over Webby and Louie too! His mind was racing with ideas. That's when he heard the bus.

Grabbing his things, he raced outside and out to the stop. That was almost a close call. Huey got onto the bus. There was hardly anyone on it because his stop was one of the first ones. He couldn't wait until Webby and Louie got on. So he pulled out his trusty woodchuck guidebook and tapped patiently on its cover.

-Dewey's POV-

Della flipped the lights on and Dewey groaned. "C'mon Dewey. I have this important meeting. I called in here five minutes ago!" She sounded angry so Dewey reluctantly pulled himself out of bed. Della looked at her watch and then he realized she was wearing her pilot uniform.

"What's the meeting for?" Dewey asked, rubbing his eyes. He had been having the most wonderful dream, which did not happen often.

"I'm going to the McDuck place this morning. And I'm going to be late! Can you get ready and on the bus in time?" Della asked as she left the room. He knew she wasn't asking... she was telling him.

Dewey grabbed his things and changed into his new favorite blue shirt. Blue, after all, was his favorite color. He looked around his not fully unpacked room. There were boxes everywhere. He hadn't even thought about unpacking because he was sure they were going to move again, even if his mother told him they weren't. What was so special about this place anyway? Cape Suzette was his favorite by far. His mother had told about these pirates that were actually in the sky! When Dewey was old enough, he was going to become a pilot and look for those sky pirates.

Once he was done with all of his morning responsibilities, he walked down to the bus stop. Dewey looked around then down at his new fancy watch. The bus had left a couple of minutes ago! Luckily he didn't live that far from school and he loved adventure, so he decided to walk. Which turned into a jog. Which turned into a full on sprint. Dewey loved the feeling of the wind in his hair.

-Huey's POV-

Where was that new kid? Huey had been told to meet him ten minutes before school started. He tapped his foot impatiently, which surprised him because he normally was extremely patient. He looked over at the clock and checked the hallways.

Louie and Webby had left him a while ago. Louie had some assignment he forgot to turn in and Webby went to go find Lena, who was in the grade above them. Now Huey was bored all by himself.

Until some kid in a blue shirt bumped into him. "Hey!" Huey stuttered as he almost lost his balance, but the blue kid grabbed him before he did.

"I'm so sorry! I wasn't watching where I was going and I'm looking for someone." The kid confidently said. Huey didn't recognize him, and he knew almost everyone in the school. He realizes that he could be the new kid!

"Are you new here?" Huey asked excitedly. The other kid nodded. "So you must be Dewford." The other kid cringed a little bit.

"Yes but you should call me Dewey." The kid said. Huey thought that was strange. Hubert shortened to Huey, Webbigail shortened to Webby, and he knew Louie's name was the shortened version of something but Louie refused to tell anyone. Huey shrugged off the thought. For now. Something was just familiar about him.

"Let the tour begin!" Huey announced and Dewey smiled, and he knew that he would definitely be keeping a close eye on him.

But the things that happened after school, made Huey even more weary about this Dewey Duck.
