Back to the present...

-Huey's POV-

"What?" Dewey asked after a couple minutes of silence. Webby and Louie looked at each other.

"Well, yea, you didn't realize that? Dewey Duck and Huey Duck. That's what you've been thinking about all week?" Webby quickly replied. Dewey looked between the three of them, he seemed really uncomfortable.

"It's getting late, I'm going to head home. Cya all at school tomorrow." Dewey said with finger guns and a fake smile. He was right, it was starting to get dark. Webby and Louie said their quick goodbyes. Then he left without another word or glance back.

Louie turned back to Huey. "So that's fun. Know you had a cousin?" Louie asked.

"No. I know that Uncle Donald has other family but we don't go out and see them ever. I have been snooping a little bit. He has a twin sister who had triplets but obviously... well Dewey doesn't have any siblings. He's an only child. Like the rest of us." The gears were working in Huey's head. Webby and Louie glanced at each other.

"Wait! Huey, Dewey, and Louie! They all sound the same. Huh... you guys could be long lost brothers! Maybe even those triplets that Donald's twin sister had!" Webby exclaimed cheerfully. Huey and Louie both burst out laughing.

"Haha you crack me up, Webby. Oh no! I just remembered I have a junior woodchuck meeting tonight! I'm going to be not as early as I wanted to! Noooo!" Huey shouted as he took off running to his house boat.

Louie linked arms with Webby, "let's go home. I believe Ottoman Empire starts soon and I don't want to miss it."

-Webby's POV-

They had been laughing at her. She knew they didn't mean it but... it still sort of bothered her. Webby also knew that they thought she was joking, but she knew more than they did about the McDuck and Duck family. She had been curious about Scrooge since her first day at his mansion. Webby had found something's she knew she shouldn't have.

Dewey's mother, Della Duck (one of the greatest adventures of all time along with Donald Duck and Scrooge McDuck), had triplets. The rest of her family were worried about Scrooge's enemies taking advantage of all three of them. So, they split them up and took them away to different places to keep them safe. Webby didn't know why, they would have been safer together as a big family anyway. Plus, Louie was fine and he lived with Scrooge. Why couldn't they come back? Webby decided that keeping the secret and acting like she didn't know anything was the best option. The adults should be the ones to tell them, not her.

-Dewey's POV-

He walked slowly home. Though he was pretty sure he was lost, he kept on trudging on. Dewey knew that having the same last name didn't mean anything. Nothing really. Well maybe they were cousins. His mother didn't talk about family much. Just that they were close and went on adventures all the time. Della had slipped once and said 'Donald', which was Huey's Uncle's name. Which could mean they were cousins. That could be why they were deciding to stay in Duckburg.

Dewey looked around. "Wait where am I?" He said aloud. Nothing looked familiar, and it didn't help that he had just moved here. It seemed like an dark and spooky alley. Dewey bravely smiled. An adventure! The sound of a trash can tipping over echoed through the street. He gulped. An adventure...! Foot steps sounded behind him. Taking a step whenever he did. Stopping when he stopped. An adventure?

"Are you Dewey Duck?" A mysterious voice echoed. Dewey nodded fiercely. If only he hadn't been lost in thought he wouldn't be in this mess. "Good. We've been watching you. Know someone by the name of Louie McDuck?"

-Louie's POV-

Louie had placed the tv remote a couple of inches too far. He couldn't reach over and grab it without wasting any energy and to make things worse, no one was anywhere near him to grab it. "Webbbbby!!" He screamed. No answer. He groaned.

Then he heard soft, delicate footsteps coming down the hallway. Thank goodness. "Webby can you grab the remote? I have to turn off the tv, it's getting way too late and I'm tired. Think I'm going to go to bed." Webby snuggled up on the coach next to him. Huh. That was odd. She normally never wanted to watch anything this late.

"Do you think I'm weird?" She asked looking up at him. Louie put is arm around his friend.

"C'mon Webs. You think anyone would? Your absolutely adorable." He said with a giggle. Webby's face broke into a grin until it was replaced with a frown.

"What do you think about Dewey and Huey then?" She asked innocently. Louie internally groaned. Of course. She asked it so innocently too.

"I don't really know Webs. And to be honest, it doesn't really matter. The way Huey was brainstorming meant that he wouldn't stop. Really, Webs, it's not that big of a deal." Louie said as politely as he could. Not that he didn't like Huey and Bluey or whatever, but he didn't think it was his business. Or maybe he was just lazy. Lazy and tired. Yea.

Webby pondered that for a while until she reached over and grabbed the remote for him. Louie gratefully turned it off and stretched. "Time for bed!" Mrs. Beakley called. Right on time.

-Huey's POV-

He had the investigation pin board up sturdily on his closet's wall. He would get to the bottom of this. All he had to do know was ask Uncle Donald without him figuring out what he was doing. Easy as pie.

"Huey! Time for bed!" Uncle Donald's strange duck voice said. Huey knew this was his chance.

"Uncle Donald, I was wondering how you met Dewey's Mom. See, I'm just curious because we do happen to have the same last name. Is he my cousin or just a coincidence? Now that I mention it, how come YOU never did? Is there something going on that I don't know about?" Huey asked. The questions had just kept pouring out of his beak. Whoops. Well at least he knows now.

"Oh boy... I knew this would happen one day. Well I don't know how to explain it. Maybe I should just call Della..." Uncle Donald nervously responded. Huey raised an eyebrow. "But right now it's time for bed. You have school tomorrow!"

"Yes Uncle Donald." Huey reluctantly replied. He had so many questions, but they would have to wait. Besides, Huey was so excited for school tomorrow that he had to be prepared for anything.

-Dewey's POV-

"Uh uh uh yes.....?" Dewey responded to the darkness. He heard a chuckle.

"Good good. Tell him I miss my friend present........."
