mins_pastelgore: i'm only doing it for school. it's not really my thing, but learning how technical objects are structured and how they appear is helpful.

mins_pastelgore: that's flattering of you to say, thank you very much. but if it helps soothe you, i technically already have my degree, i'm just doing another year for a masters.

jjk97: bro that's cool n all but y force urself to spend another year living in the dorms n go through that broke n starving college life

mins_pastelgore: haha, actually i'm not going through that. i've never lived in the dorms, my house is only fifteen minutes away from the campus so i still live with my parents. it's also really helpful because i don't really want to bring expensive art supplies onto campus that could be stolen or lost.

mins_pastelgore: and, the better the degree, the more job opportunities.

mins_pastelgore: not particularly. they don't really support me doing art and never really liked my choice to pursue it. they let me live in their house though, so to an extent we have a half decent relationship.

jjk97: awww no )): it sucks that they don't support u even when ur so good, when u make it really big (i mean ur already big but r e a l l y big (that's what she said ha gottem)) they'll see !!

mins_pastelgore: haha, i hope so. how about you and your parents?

jjk97: my parents are super supportive, i'm very fortunate. tho, their support comes with them being super protective which became such a pain when i moved into my college n having to convince them that i am an adult and can take care of myself

mins_pastelgore: ah, that's still nice though. support from family must be great.
