Emma's P.O.V
The next morning, I woke up just ten minutes before I had to get to school. I woke up abruptly, Andi screaming into my ears "Emma! Wake up! When did you sleep? We're late for school already!" she shouted into my ears.
I responded with an annoyed look on my face because I didn't want to get up. She dragged me out of bed, anyway. Finally I realized that it will take too much time to get ready on my own, so I need some help, I need magic. Can't keep my arms straight and steady, get in my uniform all ready. I looked down, and I am ready in my uniform, my hair which was done, and overall I looked pretty tidy.
"6 more minutes!" Andi shouted.
"I don't think we'll make it! Hold my hand!" I said. We grabbed each other's hand and I casted a spell, before my attendance record becomes a disaster, get us to school faster! That was probably onw of the most stupidest spells I have ever casted. Well, no time for thinking about that now. The bell had just rung and me and Andi hurried to homeroom.
I smoothly got into to my seat, without the teacher realizing I was ever gone. I let out a sigh of relief. The bell rung again, but next period was a free period for me so I just headed straight towards the school library.
Suddenly, someone grabbed me gently by my wrist. I turned around. It was Jax.
"Miss me?" he asked, all innocent.
"Yea, sure" I said sarcastically. He swung me to a side and were only a few inches apart.
"How about we skip school?" he asked but to me sounded more of a statement.
"No, I can't, not again anyways" I said and he seemed to frown a little from my words.
"You can cast a spell to make another you" he said, still gripped on me and very close.
"I don't know, Jax" I said but I finally gave in. "Okay" I said and seemed quite happy. So many places to go, places be, cant be do it all, so make another one of me.
I looked to see another Emma just behind Jax's shoulder, the bad version of me, Jax's nickname for her, E.
"Well, hello Emma" she said with a smirk. Jax turned around.
She turned to Jax, "Hi Jax" she said as went to lean in for a hug and he hugged back.
Oh, I would so punch her in the face right now. My face was literally boiling, but I had to keep my cool. I gave her the fakest smile there was.
"Well, E its a pleasure to meet you again, but we are going to have to break this reunion, since you are going to have to be in school, as me" I said.
"No way" she said and she headed for the door.
"Emma, can't E come along?" Jax asked.
WHAT EVEN? First of all, being around with two polar-opposite twins would not be good accompany to either one of us and second of all, I am not letting that dirtbag get anywhere Jax or cause anymore problems. I heard E's heels stop and turn back coming back our way. Oh no.
"Oh, Jax I would love too" she said with her fake innocent eyes. Please!
"He wasn't asking you" I retorted.
"Were you Jax?" E said. She is such a fake.
"Um, I pretty sure I was asking Emma, well that one" he pointed at me and I smirked at her.
"But, it would be lovely to have you come with us, Emma?" he turned towards me.
Lovely? Rather the opposite. I pulled Jax to the side.
"You know Jax, that I don't like her. She creates problems" I said.
"But E is fun, we can have a good time together!" he said. Yea, together meaning you and me, not her including.
I need to ask him this "Would you rather be with me or E?" it came out all of a sudden.
"Emma, what kind of question is that? Of course" I cut him. I didn't want to know. Even if he rather spend time with me then E, I knew he would have a lot more fun with her, he's just not going to admitt that in my face.
"I totally forgot" I let out a fake gasp.
"I have to finish a project" I lied, all of it.
"I need to go Jax! Bye!" I yelled out about to leave until he grabbed my wrists, subtly and gently.
"I'll miss you" he said. I blushed and I had to smile. Wait, miss me? Is he still going with E? What? I somehow got a straight face and left, not saying anything to him, ignoring him almost.
I kept on walking until I wasn't visible to Jax and E. I heard laughter and I had to stop midway in my tracks. I can't hear what they're saying, but it's not for that excuse that I won't be able to find out what's making Jax laugh, hysterically as well as E. I can't hear from here, so make their words clear. I heard:
"So Jax, shall we go?"
"Um, I think I should leave"
"No I insist! C'mon! You're no fun!"
"I am no fun? What? We'll see about that!"
And then they laughed a little more.
I creeped down the same hall I walked here, and saw their backs turned and leaving. I could see E's hand on Jax and Jax looking at E, staring almost. What? I all of a sudden felt bad, just terrible. I am going to get E for this, but I am helpless at the moment. I frowned and headed to the library to finish my "project".
