Emma's P.O.V.
I couldn't let E see me here or else she'll restrain herself from saying things that I shouldn't here. If I am not here she can freely tell whoever she is with what she wants. Underwater my longs won't bear, make the water act like air. I plummeted down to the bottom of the pool, and I don't need to worry about not having enough oxygen. Although, I can barely makeout the words E is saying. Can't hear from here, give more strength to my ear. Now I heard everything.
"Yea, I am interested in joining the Sharks," E said.
"Well, then lets see you go" I heard a farmiliar voice say. Daniel! What is he doing with her?
I look up and see a shadow that seems to be on the diving board.
"Okay, 3..2..1, go!", and I saw E's body on the water swimming. She is going awfully fast. She is using magic! Surprisingly, she is going fast, remove any spell which she had cast. E suddenly slows down and is going slower than a turtle now. Haha! I swim upwards and pull myself up and out of the water.
E's P.O.V
Why am I suddenly going so slow? When I look up as I get air I see Emma. Oh. She thinks she can stop me, she's so silly. Made my spell a flop and a flip, now she will slip. Woa, that was such a bad rhyme.
I stopped but still swaying my feet back and forth. I spotted her on the floor, her hands on her ankle and Daniel there to comfort her. Uh! He wasn't supposed to be there! Isn't he supposed to be watching me like in case I drown or something? I swam to the end of the pool and got up.
"Emma, are you alright?" my fake concern was obvious but whatever.
"Yea..erm..not really", she replied hesitantly.
"E, I'll take your test again tomorrow. Sorry, but is that okay?", Daniel asked expecting a nodd or a "yes" and I simply nodded. He helped Emma up, but she couldn't even stand.
Emma's P.O.V
Daniel tried to help me up but I couldn't stand and was frankly, unstable on my two legs. So, Daniel picked me up, bridal style and walked me back home, since no nurses are at school at this time. Today's Saturday, no is even supposed to even be in school.
I stared at him at a while. He was cute, but nothing like Jax. Jax? Jax seems to find a way to enter my mind. Daniel asks me simple questions along the way and I answer them, like how I'm doing, or if my ankle hurts and stuff.
While he was carrying me to the front door, I noticed Jax there. He looked at me, wrapped in Daniel's arms and shot a glare to Daniel.
"Emma what happened?", he asked.
"I slipped and sprained my ankle", I replied.
He lookes at it, with a worried look.
"It's fine", I assured him.
"You let this happen to her?", Jax askex Daniel in anger.
"I didn't see her when she came out on the other side of the pool", he sternly replied.
"Whatever", Jax mumbled and focused his attention on me.
"Are you..alright?", he asked me. Am I in the hospital people?
"Yea", I almost giggled at how concerned he looked. He smile. Daniel got a text saying he needed to go and suddenly leaned in to kiss my forehead. I smiled at him and he returned.
I looked at Jax, who seemed irritated by the kiss.
"What?", I asked Jax.
"Nothing", he mumbled. After almost an hour, Jax was still holding my hand while my head rested on his chest and my right leg up on the sofa.
"Jax, its okay. Its just a sprained ankle", I said.
"What if something really bad happened, Emma?", he asked me and I lamely shrugged.
"But nothing really bad happened, right?" I asked-ish. He shook his head and finally smiled. He leaned in and kissed my forehead. This time it felt right. I blushed, awkwardly.
"Emma, if anything happened-" I cut him off and said,"Nothing really bad happened, so let's drop it". I said it almost sternly and he nodded. RINNGG! The doorbell went, I wonder who it was.
