Jax P.O.V
I take a hold of Emma's hand in my hand and walk inside the Seven together. I see Daniel and so does she.
"Jax, can we go somewhere else?" Emma said. I knew she said that because she doesn't want to confront Daniel. "Emma, it's alright. I am here, no?"I said to reassure her. She tightened her grip on my hand.
I walked her to a table just a few ones away from Daniel. We sat and I saw Daniel glare back.
Daniel's P.O.V
Why is Emma here with Jax? She moved on so fast, I thought she felt the same way about me. Okay, she has the right to move on but with Jax? I can't take it anymore. I hear Emma's laughs from all the way here. I decide to walk straight up to Jax and Emma.
"Hey, Emma, I was wondering if you had today's Science notes?" I asked her even though I already had mine. She looked confused.
"But we don't have Science together, I mean the same teacher" she said, now clearly confused. UGH.
"Did I say Science? I meant Math!" I said trying to cover up my perviously failed lie.
"Yea" she opened her Math and pointed at today's notes,"Good?" she asked me.
"Yea, but I am having a problem with this, can you help me understand it?" I asked, hoping for a yes.
"Yea, sure" and hoped into a seat next to her. Jax surely enough looked annoyed with me. Well, too bad. Haha, that came off very childishly out of my head and slipped right out of my mouth.
"Too bad?" Emma asked, confused. "Nothing", I replied.
When I looked over at Jax, I could tell that he knew I was talking to him. Emma's explaining was surprisingly very quick. Should I make another excuse to stay longer with her? I have to admit, Jax's face is worth staying around for, but I dismissed that thought.
"Thanks, Emma" I said and Emma replied with a "You're welcome". I gave her a cheeky smile and began to walk away.
Jax P.O.V
Good thing he's leaving, finally. I looked at Emma.
"Anything else you would like?" I asked and she shook her head. BUZZ! Emma looked at her phone and then met eyes with me again.
"I need to go Jax, I forgot I need to get home
in ten minutes! Bye!" she rushed as she put her stuff in her bag.
I got up to ask,"Should I walk you home? No, I am going yo walking you home" I finally stated at the end.
"No, Jax it really is fine" she said but I wasn't going to budge. I took her by the arm and we walked I looked back at her and at the corner of my eye I could see Daniel, with a jealous face. I turned around and kept going foward.
"Are you sure, Jax? I mean really, it's totally fine" she said but I smiled as I nodded.
We walked and talked about random things, basically whatever came to find. I made a few attempts to make her laugh, and most if not all made her laugh and I got to see thay beautiful smile. Finally, we arrived at her house, which made me a little upset to the stomach.
"Here we are, and thank you Jax Novoa for escorting me to my house" she said and I smirked.
"My pleasure, Miss Emma" I said, trying to respond the same way she said it to me first.
I got her to laugh a little from that (which wss what I intended to make her do), and all I can think for the moment is SCORE! I bit my lips as a sign of my victory and I think she realized. Also, I completely forgot she was there for a minute. She laughed a little more.
"Bye Jax" she said as she wss about to leave to go inside. I held her hand and pulled her all the way back into my arms. "Already?" I asked, its clear that I obviously knew the answer. She nodded, innocently. I leaned in for a kiss and she stepped closer.
Before our lips met, I heard an oddly farmiliar and not to mention, annoying voice go, "Emma" and we both seperated. I turned around, about to bash someone and saw it was Daniel. Again?
"Hi, Daniel, why are you here?" she asked. "Oh, I just wanted to--" Daniel couldn't finish because Mr.Alonso cut him by opening the door and saying, "Emma? I thought it was you. Come in" he said.
"Hello, Mr.Alonso" I said to him and he greeted a warm reply back to me. I smiled, mentally counting all my brownie points by wooing Mr.Alonso. I know he's not with good terms with Daniel because after saying a hello to me, he saw Daniel and shook his head. Daniel began to leave and I also left with a wide smile on my face.
