Emma's P.O.V.
"What are you talking about Emma?" Daniel truly looked confused. I couldn't hurt him. But, I didn't have to even though I still will.
Trouble saying my words dearly, let it out clearly, I cast the spell in my mind.
"I can't love you. I want to, but I have been pressuring it." I say.
"W-what?" Daniel asked, a little hurt.
"I'm sorry, I like you but I don't ever as more than a friend."
"B-but..okay." Daniel settles. "I didn't know I was making you uncomfortable by us dating."
"No! It wasn't your fault at all. I was just conflicted with my feelings and unsure. But I know that I don't love you. I don't think I ever had. I never will, either." I cringe at myself for how straightfoward I was being but the truth had to be told.
Suddenly, a feeling inside of me stirred. I think it was because of the spell. I had this urge to go to Jax.
"I'm sorry! I need to find Jax!" I started running away from Daniel only to have him call out my name. I need to find Jax.

This should be it. I knocked twice on the door before someone opened it with a grunt.
"Emma?" Jax seemed shocked with me arriving in front of his door. I guess I was equally shocked with myself too but mostly because of the spell.
"I'm sorry. I jumped to conclusions and I hate myself for it, now. I believe you, and I'm so so sorry!" I say in ten seconds, tops.
My voice will falter if I don't get a cup of water.
A glass of water appears in my hand and I quickly gulp it down. I was thirsty because of saying it so fast and all the guilt due to Daniel.
"Wait, what?" Jax asks, unbelievingly. He leans against the door frame. He has a girlfriend, stupid!
"You have Mia," I deadpan,"I'm sorry. I should have thought about that, but I needed to let it out."
Jax shakes his head. "It was fake. The relationship was fake." I give him a confused look.
"She wanted Daniel and she thought by pretending to date me, he would get jealous." Jax explains.
"Ooh." I say. I don't think it worked out very well.
"Well, then why did you agree to it?" I ask, cocking any eyebrow but breaking out into a grin.
"Uh, because, erm -- "
I stop him with my lips.

Thank you so much for reading this book because I remember I started this the summer of last year and I was and still am a pretty bad writer! Honestly, I never thought that I would see the day when it will get to over 23k reads! Thank you for the immense support, I truly appreciate it.
Now, I know some people may be upset because I ended the book so abruptly, but it is only because I am rushing to get the second book started! Yes, second book! Same characters but different and hopefully better plot!
