As the sun began to rise, Clara quickly dressed. Her purple and green tie-dye shirt adding color to her short jeans. Clara raced down the gravel path that led to the amusement park nestled near a small lake. It had been a hot day without forgiving wind to lift the humidity. Upon entering, three or so attendants greeted her with a variety of welcomes.

"Clara! You're back!" Boris said excitedly as he set a box down near a broken ride. He gave her a grin, taking her hand and directing her to a very large roller coaster.

"Whoa!" she exclaimed jumping up and down. Clara had never seen such a tall roller coaster, just the thought gave her chills of adrenaline down her spine. "Can we ride it??" She asked, but it was more like begging.

"Sure!" Boris laughed, taking her hand once more and leading her to the entrance. Unlike the rest of the people in the country who loved her, Boris either liked to things really slow or he was just a friend. Clara forgot all her worries as they strapped into a cart. Her hands grasped the bar I front of them until her knuckles were white. Boris laid one hand over hers, giving the engineer a thumbs up. The ride had many twists and jerks as they sped along the tracks. Clara loved the feel of wind rushing past her face as the world blurred in her vision. they laughed as the two of them rode more rides afterwards.

"Here!" Boris smiled, holding a stick with fluffy blue cotton candy stuck to it. She thanked him, and plucked a large piece of the fluffy sugar off. He laid back on the bench, eating his fuchsia cotton candy.

"Clara?" He finally addressed her after minutes of comfortable silence. "Do you like the park?"

"Yeah. Why?" She replied, smiling up to the cloudless sky. He scratched his head.

"You can live anywhere, ya know. you can stay here, and always play when you have the chance." Boris looked her directly in the eyes, pleading that she'd say that she'd stay. He liked Clara. She was always nice, yet found ways to explain her way of thinking.

"I don't know.." She sighed. How could she explain it? "It's just, I don't want to favor one place over another, and I feel like I'm the only interaction Julius gets in that lonely tower." She took another bite into the sugary goodness. Boris understood-well, no. He didn't get a word. He simply nodded and kept his thoughts to himself.

"Oi! Boris! Your girlfriends back!" Mary Gowland popped up from out of nowhere. Boris screamed in fright and threw the cotton candy directly into his face.

"WHAT THE HELL OLD MAN?!?" Boris yelled, embarrassed now that Clara was laughing her ass off. Gowland chuckled as well, eating the excess candy from his face. Boris's ears twitched with fear, but the overall shock melted minutes later.

"I came to see Clara. I heard that she came for fun, and I wanted to play her something special." Gowland grinned maliciously as he pulled out a stunning dark oak brown violin. Clara's eyes widened. It looked exactly like the violin at her home.

"We want to keep our ears intact, old man." Boris growled, Covering Clara's ears for her.

"Nonsense!" Gowland assured, viciously pulling the bow across the strings. Clara wondered how such a beautiful instrument could still be working if a man like him plays. Screeching filled the air with what was supposed to sound like a soft melody. She could hardly take another second of this hell. Boris had used his hands to shield Clara's ears, leaving him without anything to shield his ears. His fuchsia cat ears tried desperately to end the wailing noise that came out of the... thing.

"Gowland!" Clara's voice Rose above the "music". Boris thanked the invisible god that he stopped.

"Can I try?" She asked, holding out her hands. Gowland shrugged and handed over the instrument. She tuned it, then pulled the bow lightly over the strings. The melody grew stronger, then light, then strong quickly as it neared the chorus line. Boris was amazed; he hadn't heard such a beautiful noise come from that thing in forever. He just thought it was a stupid instrument that couldn't, no matter how hard it tried, make such a beautiful sound. The melody vibrated through the air, catching everyone's attention as they stopped and grew silent so they could soak in all of the sound waves.

"Wow.." Was all Boris could say, for he was tongue tied by the performance. Clara shyly gave the instrument back to Gowland before Boris dragged her off to a secret location.

"This is my secret place." He pulled the lush green vines away from a cave opening to reveal a hidden garden bordered by cave limestone and granite. Clara gasped at the sheer size of the place. Sunlight sprinkled down between the enormous trees that covered the top. Flowers of all kind grew, and a small pond filled with fish swimming in the afternoon sun.

"Oh my god..." Clara laughed, rolling in the tall grass. Boris couldn't help but smile as he sat next to her.

When she was just a girl, she expected the world, but it flew away from her reach, so she ran away in her sleep, and dreamed of para para paradise. She dreamed of para para paradise.

Every time she closed her eyes.

Clara sang along to the lyrics while Boris stared up at the treetops, letting the melody sink in.

When she was just a girl, she expected the world, but it flew away from her reach, and the bullets catch in her teeth. Life goes on it gets so heavy, the wheel breaks the butterflies. Every tear a waterfall, in the night, the stormy night, she closed her eyes. In the night, the stormy night, away she fly.

She dreamed of para para paradise. Para para paradise. Para para paradise, ooooohh.

Boris knew the end grew near as the last lyrics were sung, and he decided to sing as well.

So lying underneath the stormy sky, she said, "oh, I know the sun will set to rise."

This could be para para paradise. Para para paradise. This could be para para paradise, ooooohh. This could be para para paradise. Para para paradise. This could be para para paradise, ooooohh.....

Clara forgot all of her worries, and let the breeze lull her to sleep..
