(QING)

Dayu got his consciousness back around midnight. Hours ahead of the expected time that he will wake up.

He moaned first before opening his eyes and looking at me. "Hey you..." he said, his voice croaking.

"Hey, you want something? Water?" I asked as I smile down at his face.

Dayu nodded. I should be alerting the hospital staff that Dayu is awake but I just want him for myself for a little while more.

I helped him drink some water through a straw. Then I put the bottled water aside to lean down and kiss Dayu's lips. He moaned and kiss me back.

"How are you feeling? Any headache? Any pain?" I asked after that sweet kiss.

"No, no pain." Dayu smiled and shook his head. "I think I had a pleasant sleep. I like my dream but I cannot remember what it is. I am just happy in my dream."

"You feel well rested?" I asked him in amazement.

Dayu nodded, "I do. It feels so good. I think I need that sleep. How long have I been out?"

"Ten and a half hours." I said.

"Really?" Dayu was surprised. "I slept that long?"

"Yes," I stood up. "I have to call the nurses now."

"Nurses? Why? Where am I?" Dayu finally look around and gasped when he noticed the unfamiliar place. "Qing...?"

"We are in a hospital. Our hospital, Wang Medicals. You digest something that your body didn't like. What do you last remember?"

Dayu frowned as he thinks, "I remember sitting in a restaurant with Grampy. That's the last clear thought in my head."

"I see," I nodded. "Stay lying down as I call the nurses and your doctor, okay?"

"Okay," Dayu nodded obediently.

I pushed for the button to call assistance. After a few seconds, a female nurse entered the room. "Oh, he is awake." She said before stepping back out hurriedly. Then she appeared again with another nurse in tow. "We already called for Dr.Wang, Sir." She said while inspecting the IV attached on Dayu. "We will ask if they will stop the atenolol now,"

They checked Dayu's vitals. Asking him questions and helping to propped the bed a little so Dayu can sit. I placed an extra pillow behind him.

"Are you not dizzy? Any headaches? Stomach doing okay?" The nurse asked my lover.

"No, I feel fine." Dayu smiled to assure us that he is telling the truth.

"Still sleepy? Drowsy?" The other nurse asked.

"No," Dayu shook his head this time. "I feel energized. Like I had good night of sleeping."

"Okay," the nurses nodded and moved away just as SengYou Gege entered the room. He went straight to examining Dayu. Asking things along the way

"What's the last thing you can remember?" Gege asked while feeling Dayu's neck for my lover's pulse.

"I was sitting with my Grampy on a restaurant, waiting for my parents to join us. They are coming from Japan..." Dayu gasped. "Are they here? Did they arrived safely?"

SengYou Gege looked at me. "Anything else? You don't remember vomitting and fainting?" He asked more questions instead of answering Dayu's.

"I vomitted and fainted?" Dayu's eyes widened. "When?"

"It's not important if you cannot remember them." Gege said. He took the chart and read Dayu's record. "Your vitals are normal now. Your heart rates are where we want them to be. We will just finish this IV and then we can stop the atenolol." Gege smiled at me. "He will be fine..."
