Turn 15: Gold vs Shadow part 2

"Generation Stride! Golden Knight of Incandescence, Ebraucus (26,000)!"

I watched as Star placed his stride unit onto the vanguard circle, a certain fire in his eyes that I knew all too well. I smiled and cheered him on in my head, and the same could be said for the shop keeper to my right.

"Now I pay the cost of Ebraucus. By soulblasting and counterblasting one I can look at the top three cards of my deck and call one of them, the rest go to the bottom in any order." Star took a look at his top three cards, and from the position I was standing at I could see them clearly.

He had Flame of Victory, Knight of Far Arrow, and Knight of Daylight, Kinarius. "I call Knight of Daylight, Kinarius!" Star exclaimed as he placed the card on the top left circle, the number 9,000 glowing in a bright yellow.

Star then took the Sunshine Knight, Jeffrey in his hand and dropped it into the drop zone. "By discarding a card from my hand I can use Kinarius' skill, I use the Gold Paladin staple ability." Once more, my darling took a look at the top three and once more I saw what he had.

He had Ketchgal Liberator, Sunshine Knight, Jeffrey and Holy Mage, Lavinia. "I call Lavinia and use her skill. If she's called from my deck I can return a card from my field to the bottom of my deck, then add this card to my hand." Star returned Rising Lionet to the bottom.

"Next I call Sunshine Knight, Jeffrey to the bottom left circle." The number 7,000 glowed a bright yellow as the symbol underneath Jeffrey swirled around.

"Moving to my battle phase and declaring an attack with Ebraucus (26,000 vs 11,000)!" The vanguard flipped itself into the rest position and a green arrow pointed towards Blaster Dark Diablo.

"So who do you think will win?" Tora asked, catching me off guard because I wasn't expecting her to speak. "Do you really need to ask?" I asked her curiously, but she just nodded and turned back to the fight. "I'm assuming you're going for your beloved boyfriend?" I asked her making her nod and smile, "of course. Unlike Star, Edge had actual competitive experience."

"No triggers." Star said as he added the three cards to his hand, and I couldn't see them. Sorry readers.

"Next is Kinarius boosted by Jeffrey, and because unite is online and I have a Gurguit vanguard Kinarius gains 4,000 more (20,000 vs 11,000)." Edge looked at his hand before sighing, "no guard." Edge let out a struggled grunt, like he was actually hit by the units. That is to be expected of those two though.

"Jeffrey's unite skill. Since he boosted a unit that successfully hit I can shove him into soul and draw a card."

I sighed and took a look at Edge's drop zone, noticing Karma Collector was in there. Did he guard the vanguard's attack?

Edge: Damage: 3, Hand: 6, Soul: 3.

Star: Damage: 3, Hand: 9, Soul: 1. F.D.D: 1

"I draw for turn." I looked over Edge's shoulder and noticed he had drawn another copy of Diablo. Edge placed his hand down and quickly scanned his G-Zone, stopping at Supremacy Black Dragon, Aurageyser Dragon. "This will work." Edge said under his breath, taking the top card of his hand and dropping it in the drop zone

"Generation Stride! Supremacy Black Dragon, Aurageyser Dragon (26,000)!" Edge dropped the stride unit onto the vanguard circle and picked up two cards in his hand. "Calling Black Chain Spirit Dance Formation, Kahedin (7,000) to the bottom right and Black Chain Flame Dance Formation, Hoel (9,000) to the top left."

"Battle phase! Aurageyser Dragon attacks (26,000)!" My beloved then grabbed Kahedin and Charon, holding them up and dropping them in the drop zone. "Using it's skill. Counterblast one, soulblast one, retire two units, and persona flip in order to activate it. When my unit attacks I can reveal the top two cards and add them to my hand, then he gets five thousand for each grade 1 or lower I revealed."
