Turn 26: Luard vs Dark Union P:1

"Stand up Alter Knight, Star (5,000)."

Stand up Dragprince, Rute (5,000)."

*Shun's starting*

"I draw." My newest card was Dragheart Luard. I added that to my hand and picked up Draglancer, Daellad. "I ride Draglancer, Daellad (7,000), call Rute to bottom left, and call Abyssal Owl (7,000) to bottom middle." I tapped Abyssal Owl and explained it's skill, that I was able to look at the top seven when he was called and add one Luard unit to my hand. "I add Dragfall, Luard to my hand and discard Dragheart, Luard." 

I looked back towards my friend and they were watching me with stunned eyes; eyes that said 'give up Shun, you can't beat her'. My heart dropped when I saw their expression and turned to look at the floor, 'I know they're only looking out for me, but for once I want someone to support me.'

"Shun! You better not lose!" I gasped and turned back around to see Jacob staring up at me with a glare that shook my spine and froze me still. "Shun, you have to win! I won't accept being friends with a failure!" His words sounded cruel, but it was his way in saying he believes in me. I gave him a soft nod and turned back towards my opponent.

"I discard Dragwizard, Fuamnach to use it's skill. Resting a unit with the ritual ability, Abyssal Owl, to draw a card. I end my turn there." The card I drew was Dragsaver, Esras.

"I draw and ride Alter Knight, World (7,000)." 

Alter Knight, World was a tall, medium built man with long, brown hair that was brushed back and down his back. He wore a black silver chestplate, black leather leggings, and wielded a black steel sword that was as wide and tall as me. He had black pupils and a scarf that blocked his mouth.

"Alter Knight, Star's skill activates, when I ride Alter Knight, World I can add one Alter Knight, Galaxy to my hand." 

Without my knowledge I tightened the grip on my cards and my knees started bucking; my body wasn't responding and my breath picked up tenfold. 

*Battle Step*

"I attack your vanguard with Alter Knight, World (7,000 vs 7,000)." Alter Knight World raised his sword high into the air, the sword being struck y lightning in the process and emitting a purple lightning. 

"I-I-I" I stumbled out, never really getting out what I was trying to say, but I think she got the point. "Fine, check one." ??? held up the top card of her deck, showing a card that glowed a faint yellow. "Critical trigger, Alter Knight Nova." 

One second I was standing there in fear, the next I was being flung backwards, towards my group of friends.

"Shun!" Someone yelled from behind, although I couldn't tell who it was because the ringing in my ears. "Don't worry, I got you." The same voice said before I crashed into somebody, softening my crash.

"You okay?" I groaned in response and forced my eyes open to see Ralph staring down at me, although something was different about him. His eyes were a burning red and his hair was a crimson color now. 

"W-Who are you?" I asked, forcing myself up with the assistance of the person who caught me. 

"Long story short, my name is Blaze and I kinda work with Ralph. I'll do anything within my power to help you, but you still have to give it your all."

I gave him a long, scared look before nodding and stumbling back up to the table.
