Turn 39: Skye vs Snow

It is 2019 now. 

Skye had broken away from the group like Cass had suggested and was now walking up the staircase of the tower she chose. Unlike her friends, she wasn't the athletic type, so at the current moment she was panting and stumbling up the stairs, stopping every once in a while to catch her breath. 

When Skye had finally made it to the top floor she was sweating bullets and clutching her chest.

???: "So, my rival has finally made it. Welp, time to make you disappear."  

A voice told her, catching Skye off guard. Skye turned her attention to the voice and saw Snow staring at her with a deathly glare, but something was off.

Skye: "Did she always have purple eyes?" Skye asked herself, standing up straight.

Snow: "Let's get this over with, and when we are done and you're dead, I'll have Star to myself." A smile replaced her cold stare as she pushed open her black cloak and raised her hand.

Skye: "What do you mean? I thought you broke up with him." Skye asked, taking a step back.

Snow: "I changed my mind. He doesn't deserve someone like you. You're weak beyond belief, you couldn't even protect a fly." 

Skye's heart jumped forward, her breathing becoming heavier.

Snow: "Just make this easy on the both of us and kill yourself, jump off right now." 

A rain cloud loomed overhead and it started to drizzle. dampening Skye's teal colored hair to cover her eyes.

Skye: "Is she right? No! It can't be true, can it? I'm strong, I defeated Seth in the past."

Snow: "You're thinking about that time you beat Requiem, right?"

Skye froze.

Snow: "Keep in mind that Star came in last second to save you. You. Did. Nothing. Important. anyone could've fought Requiem and won."

The air chilled around them as Skye went wide eyes underneath her hair. 

Skye: "Now that I think about it. . . Have I done anything important?"

Snow smiled, knowing she was getting to Skye. 

Snow: "That's right. All you've been was some useless girl that's meant for nothing more than being a pitiful girlfriend." 

They stopped talking, Snow thought she had pushed Skye over the edge, but that was far from the truth. Skye placed her deck on the deck zone and a protective bubble appeared over it, to protect it from the rain.

Skye: "Take it back." Skye said quietly.

Snow: "What?" 

Skye: "I SAID TAKE IT BACK! TAKE IT BACK OR I'LL FORCE IT OUT OF YOU!" Her eyes were glowing a dangerous red.

*Snow's starting*

Snow & Skye: "Stand up, the vanguard!"

Snow: "I draw and ride Drill Motor Nurse (7,000), calling Black Report, Ridwan (5,000) to bottom middle and passing."

. . .

Snow: Hand 5, Damage 0, Soul 0.

Skye: Hand 5, Damage 0, Soul 0.

Skye's turn
. . .

Skye: "I need to calm down, i can't let rage consume me, if I do then I'll make mistakes." Skye told herself, a burning inferno still deep in her heart.
